Good location, nice views for upper floor. However, I found the room a little dirty at the floor corners. The lift was annoying because one out of the three doesn't go to the entrance. I had to change lifts in the middle many times. They should fix it to make it more convenient.

The location is convenient. The most spacious guest room (twin) at Remm Akihabara is not at all spacious.82,000 yen for 2 nights and 3 days with check-in on Saturday 1012 and check-out on Monday 1014, a public holiday.Neither expensive nor cheap.Overall below average.

advantage:1. The hotel counter staff understands English.2. Check In is completely machine-operated and supports multiple languages. It is very simple and convenient.3. There is a massage chair in the room.4. It is close to the station and is convenient for visiting Akihabara. The location is perfect.shortcoming:1. Promote environmental protection, but there is no recycling bin in the room, only one trash can.2. Toothbrushes are not provided proactively, so you need to go to the lobby on the 6th floor to get them yourself (no one would be environmentally friendly enough not to brush their teeth...)

These are nice sized rooms in a fantastic location, literally next door to Starbucks, and a few steps away from Akihabara Sta.I wasn’t fond of the crowds, but it is the price for convenience. The room had a few quirks. 1. The massage chair was made for people with short legs, possibly under 4’9, and of petite build. I was determined to get a leg massage after a full day of walking and stuffed myself into every crevice of that leather chair. It did o-k because it mainly massaged my ankles, as I was not of optimal height/width. My back was massaged because there is a width adjustment, but I felt like some of me was spilling off the leather. If you like ankle massages, it’s great.2. The shower had a window to the outside. I am not an exhibitionist, so I used the curtain to cover the window. The shower had full view of the platform and awaiting passengers, so it could be tempting to maybe someone younger, with more gym time, and a few drinks in them.3. One of the 3 elevators does not reach the 1st floor. I transfer on trains, but I didn’t expect I’d have to transfer on such a short ride at the 6th floor to another elevator to reach 1st. Small meh.Overall, loved the room, location, and extremely polite service! I also enjoyed my daily ankle massages.

The location couldn’t be better, the hotel looks quite new despite being years old, and the service is nice.We had no problems with our luggage or belongings, though we always secured everything with a key after reading some theft accusations. However, the cleaning service is terrible across the entire hotel. We got a room that was clearly dirty, with mold on the shower curtains and other areas. The windows were covered in fingerprints and who knows what else. They moved us to a room four floors above the previous one. It was slightly cleaner, but it’s clear this hotel has a poor cleaning service. The entrance to the rooms has months-old dirt and dust, and all the rooms have the same dirty spots: the space between the glass on the tables and the edge probably hasn’t been cleaned ever. The shower glass looks like it has rubber stuck to it, almost like someone walked over it. The corridors are filthy, with dust accumulating for weeks. No wonder they lost a star (now 3 stars, when it was 4 stars a few years ago). But we’ve stayed at two and three-star hotels for the last 20 days, and this is the only one we can say is truly dirty.

For the past few years, I have been using this as my regular lodging when traveling to the Tokyo area. Since I travel by Shinkansen from my hometown, this location is perfect, just two stops from Tokyo Station.I can't deny that the equipment is a bit old, but it's over 15 years old, so I guess that can't be helped. There is a convenience store, Starbucks, MUJI, and GU in the same building as the hotel, so you won't have to worry about forgetting something. Lately, instead of using the hotel breakfast, my standard method is to order from Starbucks in my room, pick it up, and eat it in my room. The room is not large, but since this is not the type of hotel where you enjoy a hotel stay, it is sufficient space. The bed is comfortable, and when you lower the blackout roll screen, it becomes pitch black. I liked it so much that I even made my bedroom a blackout roll screen with the same side plates as Rem lol.I think this is the best hotel for people who value a good location and good sleep, and don't need a bathtub.
