It's a hostel, not a hotel. The overall price is high for a hostel, and the overall safety is good, probably due to the interior and exterior design. The visual design is wonderful as it is a renovation of an old building in a residential area. Consideration was also given to the surrounding area.Towels, shampoos, mattresses, bedding, and amenities are of good quality. The social atmosphere of the cafe and lounge was also nice. The young staff members were generally friendly. The food is also delicious. However, I felt that the essential elements for lodging and rest were designed with the premise of customers acting with Japanese sense of cleanliness and common sense.Part of it is also my own fault. This is clearly not the type of customer they are looking for...I needed to stay overnight for work, but there was no place nearby where I could stay due to travel expenses, so I was wondering if I could survive in a four-person female dormitory at a clean-looking recent hostel. I thought so, but it was impossible...It was very unfortunate that young, naive South Asian travelers and Japanese people who had to stay within the travel expenses regulations for work had to share the same room... In short, it was the worst part. are travel expense regulations. That said, my subjective experience was one that made me feel awful, so I'll write about it below. When I checked in and looked at the room, I was worried that the room was longer and narrower than in the photo and that there would be a lot of noise, and that the lack of curtains would let in too much light, so I went to bed early, but it was obvious that there was a person in a sleeping state. Even though I was there, people turned on the lights at 1am and there were people rummaging through plastic bags, so I warned them, but another person came back to the room at 2.30am and started rummaging through suitcases, rattling lockers, and so on. The alarm went off at 6am, the lights went on...I started talking from 7am...I used both an eye mask and earplugs, but I could hear the energy of young overseas travelers, the rattling of metal doors that don't have automatic locks, and the sound of lockers that could be heard 1m from my bedside. It was meaningless in front of the echoing sounds and the creaking of the bunk beds. The quality of the eye mask gets stuffy quickly, so you can't keep it on all night...In fact, there was no curtain on the window side of the bed, so the light was just coming in. The gap between the front rail and the curtain was also large. I couldn't tell from the photo. It was a tough experience. Also, the trash in the shared toilet and the cleanliness of the shower room. Also, some of the desks in the cafe space were very sticky and wobbly. Since it is a self-help method that is not intended to be used in Japanese movements, I think it could be improved with a little more effort.Even though I had pre-registered for the reservation, I was forced to manually enter my address, phone number, and credit card number at check-in. I was asked to enter my credit card number as if it were a matter of course, so I thought, "Huh?", but the front desk staff just said, "I don't normally use it," and went elsewhere. Is that the kind of wording that should be said there? As a hostel, this dormitory is not cheap. However, in terms of the cleanliness of the bathroom, the room without an auto-lock, and the inability to rest at night, I would say the quality is about 3,000 yen in a country with similar prices...I made the reservation based on the reviews and photos on another site, but I wish I had read the reviews on Google Maps. The problems I experienced above can be improved with the hostel's facilities and rules, so I hope that the accommodation environment will be set up with the same resolution as cafes and social spaces. Was it because there were no rules such as lights out from 11am to 7pm? There are many existing places that have rules, but I don't see them here. Also, the seemingly obvious warning to be quiet at night out of consideration for others doesn't appear in any of the warnings at first glance, so I can't say that the people in the room were at fault in general.Even if a dissatisfied individual simply asks people to be quiet, it is useless in a multinational environment and ethics. I think design and systems cover this.

Really lovely boutique hotel in Tokyo. We booked fairly last minute but this was under a friends recommendation and it was perfect for our short stay. Very close to Next station and had a convenience store very close by too. The staff were really welcoming and hospitable, and were also able to speak English so no worries there. Very clean and modern decorating that just felt quite comfortable like a chic cafe. Only warning is that if you get a room with an en suite bathroom and you are bigger in height or size, you may prefer to actually use the shared bathrooms with are a lot more spacious and equally clean.

I recently had a pleasant stay at Hotel Graphy Nezu. The hotel is located in the charming Yanasen area, which is both vibrant and conveniently situated for exploring Tokyo. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming, and it exudes a good vibe throughout. The rooms, although small, are cosy and comfortable. However, there is room for improvement in the cleaning services. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms could be better, as I noticed that dirty cups were not replaced, and the overall tidiness could be enhanced. One downside to my stay was the noise level, particularly as my room was located near the service areas, which was somewhat disruptive.Despite these minor issues, Hotel Graphy Nezu remains a good choice for those seeking a well-located and atmospheric place to stay in Tokyo.

5 stars except for the lack of toilets and showers, but that's the downside
