Horrible and unprofessional service. Prior to my trip, I consulted a travel agency about this hotel but never made a successful booking nor payment. I finally reserved and paid in full for my stay via Ctrip.com and it was a non-refundable booking. When I arrived at the hotel, front desk staff insisted that I have two bookings with them: one from the travel agency and one from Ctrip. Thus, they had to charge me cancellation fee for the first booking I never made should I want to check-in. Even though I took a step back by saying that I could pay for the other unpaid reservation, the staff refused to give me two rooms. They also refused to talk to the travel agency regarding the reservations. It appears to me that they only want to charge me more money because they knew my other booking was non-refundable.First of all, the hotel never checked with me nor their agencies regarding this double booked order. Secondly, they did not try to resolve the problem but only to impose penalty on their customer. Moreover, the staffs kept talking in Japanese secretly with condescending tones and looks on their faces. It was nothing but simple rudeness.I did not stay at this horrible place. I wrote my complaint to Ascott and apparently the company does not take their customer voice seriously and simply forwarded the message to this hotel branch. What I got from them are merely classic cliche and by saying that they are sorry for bringing me some “inconvenience” but “you are never getting back your money! Hahaha! “ But for me, and many customers alike, it was never just about the money.Oakwood Azabu truly represents a next level Japanese hospitality. Way to go Ascott!

Not worth $200 a night. Service is horrible. I had to insist on them giving me water and coffee capsules. If you don't clean your room, they give you a 500 yen coupon to spend at any convenience store. I have stayed at many oakwoods internationally, and this is probably the worst one. The upside was that the Korean and Japanese staff were nice and helpful. It's close to Ginza and a nice upscale neighborhood by the subway station. This place is okay if you want to cook in your room. Nissin supermarket is right across the street. There is a seven eleven behind the hotel. BTW, the Tokyo tower view was worth the $200 a night.
