The hotel is far on a hill. and has a very musty smell Reserve a room from a beautiful, luxurious, good-looking website. But found the real room, turned upside down, the room didn't match the description, and even went into the lobby. The smell was so bad it hurt the nose (for people who are allergic to smells). We went on the reserved date. But the room doesn't match the cover. So I asked to cancel and refund. The lady was very helpful and talked to us until she canceled and told us to refund the money later.

The room feels a little small, but I'm thankful that the 5 private baths have natural hot spring water.

If you make a reservation from the website, you can use the hot springs and Manga Museum in the main building from 1pm on the same day. You can still use the main building with towels even after check-out at 11am.All-you-can-eat crab is no longer available, but it's been upgraded so much that I don't mind it at all and it's delicious!Waraku's private hot springs were also great. The room is spacious and comfortable. There is. There were a lot of reviews and I thought there were a lot of different people. This hotel is recommended for those who love manga, love hot springs, and want to enjoy all-you-can-eat meals with various arrangements!

I stayed with my family of 3.Meal is a buffet typical of a hotel.Dinner is a classic with sashimi, steak, and tempura. Everything was delicious. Breakfast is also satisfying with sashimi and roast beef. Itoen Hotel claims that it offers all-you-can-eat crab, but there are many hotels that don't have enough crabs or are just trying to make a profit, but I felt that Sun Valley was a good choice. It was nice to be able to use the private bath freely. There was also information about hometown tax payments in the room, so I was able to pay my taxes on the spot and save money on my bill. This is a hotel that I would like to come back to again.

Having to go to the main building for the public bath and food is a bit of a hassle, but the private bath is comfortable and relaxing.

The quality of the food went down for a while, but this time it was very good. Although it was crowded for dinner, the steak was tender and the sushi was delicious. The Chinese food was also delicious. The breakfast wasn't salmon roe, but there was sujiko and squid, and the kattedon was making a bit of a comeback. The dining hall was spacious, beautifully renovated, and bright, but there was no air conditioning in the front area, so it was hot.

I've been coming here since 2000, so that's about it.I've been a regular customer for 24 years. The first year I came here, my grandfather was still alive and in a wheelchair, but we were given a barrier-free room.My grandmother was still in good health, so I still have fond memories of traveling with her.I also remember that there was a bingo tournament at the time, and it was quite lively.Since then, I have come to stay at least once every year.Waraku's biggest attraction is its ``private bath.''You can relax in the hot springs by yourself without having to worry about other customers, so you can feel very refreshed. As for the food, you have to go to the main building, but they have all kinds of Japanese, Western, and Chinese food, and the quality of the food is reasonable compared to the price of the room. The sushi is very good because you can specify what you want and it will be made for you on the spot, and the tempura is freshly fried and delicious. I'm always surprised at how high quality the ramen and fried rice are. There used to be an all-you-can-eat breakfast, but until now,Speaking of Sun Valley"Private bath" and "All-you-can-eat breakfast"It is no exaggeration to say that I came here every year because of these two signboards. However, due to the recent rise in prices and labor costs, ikura has disappeared from breakfast venues several years ago.I would like to see some kind of revival if possible. Please, if the management company sees this, please consider it 🙇‍♂️As for the guest rooms, as I wrote at the beginning, it was already nearly 20 years old as of 2000 (it says it was founded in 1982), so some hotels are already nearly 50 years old, so when you enter the room, it smells like mold...It smells like armpit odor. But strangely enough, my nose gets used to it. lolAlso, as the world is now very strict on smokers, all rooms are non-smoking. I forgot how it used to be.As for the rooms, there are some spacious rooms, so even if you go with 3 or 4 people, you can have a relatively relaxing time. However, if I had a request, I would like to have a large TV (40 inches to 50 inches) in a large room because the TV is small. I would also like to see an outlet or USB port near the bed. Please consider this for the sake of those who use smartphones. If you're concerned about your partner snoring when you're in the same room, there's also a type of room where you can move between two rooms for the price of one room, so that's also a good thing! (I myself have been told by my family that I snore like a killer, so they don't like living in the same room lol)I think another important thing is the customer service attitude, and although I have only stayed at Waraku, all of the receptionists at Waraku are very kind and kind.Until a few years ago, there was a young, charming, and cute person, but that person seems to have disappeared, which is a shame 😢 lolAs I've mentioned before, I was a 4th grader (10 years old) in 2000, and now I'm a 34-year-old man in 2024, and I still come here with my family. This is a special hotel with memories from my teens, 20s, and 30s.Sun Valley is the best because everything is just right.
