Although it is old, it has a nostalgic feel that reminds me of a dormitory somewhere, and the retro feel is irresistible.Mixed bathing, no hair dryer, no locks...but it was a retro and thoroughly interesting inn. The landlady is friendly, kind and the best.

It was such a bad guesthouse that I couldn't give it even one star.I went with a group and rented a 5-room annex, but it was really dirty. It's not old dirt, it's dirt that hasn't been cleaned. The tatami mats in all the rooms were rotten and sank when stepped on, and in some rooms the batteries in the air conditioner remote control were dead.I filled the bath with hot water, but there was something floating in it and I couldn't put it in, so I had to drain it and clean it.I had a hard time taking a shower as the temperature of the hot water was not stable.I was also told that I could use the dining room freely, but it was quite dusty and the cooking utensils were covered in rust and greasy, so I decided to decline breakfast and realized that I had made the right decision. You can't eat anything made in that kitchen.Additionally, there were three incidents where other guests entered our annex, perhaps because the entrance to the main building was difficult to find. There is no guidance, so we have no choice but to guide them directly, and I wish they had provided guidance in advance or made it easier to understand.Additionally, the building the room was in was not locked. When I asked the manager to lock the room because my child was sleeping in the building, he told me that if he had about 1 million yen in cash, he would lock it. Life is more important than cash. The futon provided was full of stains and smelled of dust, and my eyes were itchy and I couldn't stop sneezing.Honestly, I don't think it can be helped if it costs 2,000 or 3,000 yen per night, but I would like you to refrain from paying 4,500 yen per adult for a dirty room that hasn't been cleaned, a dirty kitchen, a dirty bath, and a dirty futon. . There's no 24-hour caretaker, there's no surveillance camera, and what does it mean to pay someone to stay in a building that can't be locked so anyone can get in? I'm not familiar with the law, but is it okay to operate as a lodging facility?I understand that you are doing this alone and are unable to handle it. However, the level of filth and sloppiness is unacceptable for paying people to stay there. Please come again? I'm sorry, but I'll never go there again, even if I'm asked or for free.

I stayed here to participate in SSTR2022.This is probably the cheapest place to stay in this area.Although we checked in after 9 pm, we were greeted kindly even though it was late.Although the facilities are old, the bath was large and comfortable. The rooms have a traditional style of sleeping on futons in tatami rooms. There is a parking lot in the back, and you can park your bike there. There is a convenience store about 15 minutes walk away, and Max Value is also nearby, so if you need anything, you can finish your shopping there. It was very helpful to be able to check out early at 5:00 am.If you found this review helpful, please click the 👍 button.

A guesthouse run by a friendly landlady. A 6-tatami room with 6 tatami mats that remains as it was in the Showa era. It reminds me of my friend's room where I boarded when I was a student. There is no dinner, but there are restaurants nearby where you can eat, but they also have Max Value, so you can enjoy inexpensive meals in your room. I'm happy because I can take a bath to myself in a large bathtub that can accommodate about 6 people. Breakfast will be served in a separate dining room. A Japanese buffet that feels 10 times more homemade. He showed us the season of bamboo shoots and raw bamboo shoots. The bamboo shoots simmered in soup stock had a gentle, mother-like taste. This inn seems to have some treasures❗The proprietress' mother is one of the models for the drama "Oshin". He told me that there were actually three models. I was surprised to learn that the Mogami River that appears in the drama is actually Oigawa. In addition, professional golfer Ryo Ishikawa used the facility for training camps when he was young, and they are still in touch with each other.Recently, there have been many programs on TV introducing local Chinese cuisine, restaurants in old houses, surprising meals, and restaurants with interesting proprietors and owners. If a program is to be made next on the theme of Showa guesthouses that still have the Showa era in mind, I would definitely recommend this inn. Thank you for the delicious breakfast, including the proprietress and the grandmothers, all dressed in white kappo clothes. So where's Viva? I guess I'm going home after all.
