I was curious about this guesthouse in Izu Kogen, so I decided to stay there.Room: 5 pointsWe are happy to have a complete lineup of toilets (complete with washlet), sinks, and refrigerators. Afterwards, you can see the ocean view from the window! And the futon was the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed at in a guesthouse. I was very happy that I was able to have a good night's sleep without the mattress putting any strain on my body.Cleanliness: 5 pointsThe building itself is old, but it seems like it has been renovated and is beautiful. Of course, it was also thoroughly cleaned.Bath: 5 pointsThe observation bath on the 4th floor is not an open-air bath, but it is nice to have an ocean view overlooking the ocean. The bath is a hot spring and is large enough for about 4 people to bathe at the same time, so I'm satisfied. The chair is also high enough and comfortable to sit on.Cooking (dinner): 5 pointsAppetizers, sashimi, simmered dishes, oboro sushi, grilled flounder, fried rockfish, vinegared dishes, clam soup, pickled vegetables, and fruit shiratama. All delicious! The flesh and bones of the fried rockfish are fried separately, so the flesh is fluffy and you can eat all the bones! After tasting the simmered dishes and soups, I realized that the soup stock used here is amazing! This dashi makes the quality of the dish even higher.Cooking (breakfast): 5 pointsA Japanese breakfast with dried fish and small dishes. Of course, it was so delicious that it was a must-have substitute for rice.Customer service/service: 5 pointsThe tea appetizer provided in the room was homemade pickled plums with sugar, and it was so delicious that I couldn't help but buy it as a souvenir. The overall service and customer service was courteous, and when serving the meals in the room, they served the meals at a good pace, and even helped raise and lower the futons. !It's nice to relax and enjoy the hot springs and meals by yourself, but I'd like to report that it was the best guesthouse for spending time with family and friends.

Some reviews said that the bathhouse on the 4th floor could be seen from the embankment, but that is not the case!Your line of sight in the bathroom is at head height, and you cannot see anything from the neck down from the embankment! Please rest assured. When we stood up by the window and waved, the fishermen on the embankment seemed to laugh at us (^^;)

The sea is really right in front of you.The time you spend just sitting by the window and staring blankly at the sea feels so soothing and luxurious. The food was delicious both morning and evening. The bath in the room is compact and lukewarm, but if you open the window you can see the ocean and listen to the sound of the waves while bathing. The large public bath with a beautiful view is available for a set time, but it's a great idea to rent it out for private use.The cleaning is thorough and the floors are sparkling clean.I love small, hidden gems like Minatoya.

I was impressed by the hospitality of the friendly staff. We took the tourist train from Yokohama, and were contacted at the train station and picked up to meet us a short while later. The accommodation is located right in front of the sea.The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Please note that there are no convenience stores nearby.I am very satisfied with the food and the accommodation is clean! It is said that there are almost no foreign visitors because it is not registered on accommodation apps or overseas websites.

An inn with extremely delicious food.Since there are two small children, it is also nice that they eat in their room. The hot springs are okay. The bathroom in the room looks big in the photo on the website, but in reality it only accommodates one adult and you can't even stretch your legs.Private baths are also common. But all of that can be forgiven as long as you eat the meal. This is an inn that puts a lot of effort into cooking.I would like to go again.
