The staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby. However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. …

Hotel Shikinokura may surprise you as it looks like a Balinese resort located deep in the heart of.... Izu?? Yes, Izu, the large peninsula that's part of Shizuoka prefecture located west of Tokyo and southeast of Mt. Fuji.  …

Literally this hotel is the Auberge. Moreover, you can bring your dogs or cats with you!Nice coteges(3 different location)Good air, Near from the Kawazu sta.(7minuites by you own car, 20 , minuites by walk -in this case there's a miniban for you to catch up you at the station)In February you can participate in the most famous festival "SAKURA Matsuri".You look thousand of Kawazu cherry"!! by the river. You would wonder as if you were in Wasington, USA 🤗From the top of the hotel dog run, you can see the sea and the townand if the weather is nice, you could hear the sound of waves. If you would be lucky, you could see the north american continental. If not look it with your imagination🤣Before your return way to home, it will be better to go to Shimoda so that you could catch the sightseeing ship "Kurofune-gou"Which looks like a Admiral Pery's ship.

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend. The staff greeted us with a drink and the manager(?), Yoshi-san was incredibly accomodating. He went above and beyond, giving us lifts to the station and recommending a variety of restaurants and things to do. The room was lovely and the onsen were well-kept and beautiful. Also, we don't have a dog but if we did, it would be like heaven for it! Will definitely visit again!

First of all, the food was perfect and really delicious, so my expectations for food, one of the pleasures of traveling, were fulfilled. ⭐︎5 or more.*The only downside is that there are many places where you can stay with your dog, so I think it's worth the fun and value of coming here. When I arrived at the hotel, I was able to check in early, so I thought I would be able to spend a relaxing time.Unfortunately, it was raining so we couldn't go to the outdoor dog run, but there was an indoor dog run and a private hot spring outside for humans to enjoy, so we were able to get through dinner in no time. When checking in, the stairs leading from the parking lot to the building were slippery and dangerous even when I was holding the handrail. I thought it would be better to put something on the stones of the stairs or something to make them less slippery as soon as possible.Although the exterior and interior of the building are undeniably old, the company has put a lot of effort into improving the room amenities, as well as the communication with the staff, which made me want to stay here again. When serving the meal, I probably didn't want to see someone change the direction of the sashimi while teaching a newcomer right in front of them (but I didn't feel bad about it!)I was able to get close to the private bath outside, so I felt safe without having to leave my dog alone in the room, and I thought it was nice that it was kept clean.(Since I want to have a relaxing time with my dog, and the bath is not the main thing, I didn't mind the one-time reservation rule at all.)Unfortunately, I had selected the special offer on the reservation site, but I had forgotten that Ise lobster would be served for dinner. After that, they responded sincerely, but I was already too full and forced myself to eat after the chestnut rice. It was a shame because the atmosphere during this exchange seemed to deteriorate slightly, which made me feel very awkward.I think this situation might not have happened if they had confirmed the details of the reservation when checking in.During BAR time, I chatted with the guests and it felt very homey and fun.The next morning was sunny 🌞 I woke up to the strong morning sun shining through my room, and I went to the rooftop dog run with my dog and had a fun morning.I'm very grateful to be able to eat with my dog in a restaurant, but the distance between the seats made it difficult to feed my dog, but the service was good, including free dog yogurt in the morning.Overall, this hotel was very good. I'm sorry that my dog was barking a lot, but everyone, including the other guests, were very nice and it was a fun trip. I think I will go again for the delicious food. Thank you for your understanding at that time.

I've been staying at this inn for about a year now. This time it was a plan to stay without meals. It's difficult to access if you don't have a car, but the inn is located in a quiet area, so both dogs and people can have a great time. All the staff are friendly and make you feel relaxed from check-in to the end.The twin room was spacious enough. The bed was highly resilient, making it the perfect environment for someone with back pain. The amenities were basically all you need, and the room wear was cute. There were also amenities in the room that made you feel good when you used them, such as L'OCCITANE shampoo. There are multiple dog runs both indoors and outdoors, and I was able to use them privately when I was there, and my dog was very happy with them. There are three types of hot springs, and depending on how crowded they are, we were able to fully complete them. (2 open-air baths, 1 indoor hot spring)! Note! You must decide your desired time to use the hot springs at check-in. We recommend checking in early as it is a first-come, first-served basis. It seems like you can take your dog with you to the changing room, so it feels like you can spend all your time with your dog at this inn.I also enjoyed the hot springs in the morning and was very satisfied. You can enjoy the ultimate experience with all-you-can-drink drinks at the reception, free ice cream time after taking a bath, and even a free drink of alcohol (with a designated menu). It was such a wonderful inn that I felt like just one night without meals was not enough.I will definitely visit again.Next time I'll take him to the dog spa (free for hotel guests)!

Stayed for 2 nights in a double room■Good points・I'm good at cooking. It was great to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors in just the right amount for both dinner and breakfast.・We have a wide variety of menus for dogs and are plentiful. The dog was happy too・Hot springs are basically reserved for private use. It's great to be able to enjoy various hot springs.・It was nice to have a hot spring with a dog gauge.・There were about 4 dog runs that I enjoyed.・There is night cry ramen and free drinks◯・I'm also happy to be able to leave my dog with me when I go to the hot springs.■Bad points・Parking lot is small & difficult to park・Although the guest room is standard type, it is disappointing that it is so small that you would think it is a business hotel.■SummaryIt would be a shame if you chose the standard type of room, but the food, dog-friendly facilities, hot springs, and service were good, so overall it felt very good.
