Used for the Atami fireworks festivalIt was convenient to be able to walk to the fireworks festival venue. The guest room was atmospheric and soothing.I was happy because I had few experiences where I could eat meals in my room. There was a courtyard, which reminded me of my parents' home, and I felt deeply moved.

Although it's old, it's clean, it's in a great location within walking distance to the sea, and it's quiet at night, so I think it's perfect.

I will never stay here. Please make sure your room isn't next to the public baths, which is until 1 am. You might not be able to sleep. The room was nice and had a garden view. However, my room was next to the private & women's baths, and it became louder at night time. I was too tired and fell asleep after 12:30 am. Suddenly, it became even more noisy, and I heard some cleaning sound around 1 am??? I was fully awoken by the vacuuming or drying sounds and a loud noise like moving baskets around. I couldn't believe they were cleaning in the middle of the night. There was no mention of this weird cleaning hours when I booked or checked in. The cleaning lasted for a while since there were two bath places next to my room. It was so annoying, and I couldn't go back to sleep until 2 or 2:30 am.It was weekdays, and the hotel wasn't even busy. There were many empty rooms. Since they put a tag of your full name next to the room door (no privacy and embarrassing), I was able to see how many vacant room they had. Based on my research, foreigners are usually getting this room.FYI, there is no open-air bath. No snack or drink provided during the stay (not even water bottles), but you can get water from the water filter next to the bath. The public bath was small and smelly.

Great hotel with good service. It has a long history but has been renovated. The rooms are spacious and warm, and there is a small independent courtyard. Although the bathroom is not convenient outside, it is still a pleasure to stay there

A present from my daughter for my birthdayThe spacious room, food, and hot springs were very relaxing. It was a great day as I was able to visit Kinomiya Shrine and go to the sea to watch the sunrise.
