This is a hot spring located in a hidden area of Shimoda. This is my second stay. It feels like the hot water is moist and sticks to your skin. Once you get into it, you'll be addicted. Personally, hot water is number one. The staff were all very nice and the food was very satisfying. This is a hot spring that I want to come to every year.

In October, I took a day trip to a hot spring. After checking in, we were given a detailed explanation of how to get to the hot springs building, and then we were told to walk along a small path. Thank you for your easy-to-understand guidance. The building has a calm feeling with wooden sliding doors. Now, the important thing is hot water. The best! ! ! It was. It's colorless and transparent, has no odor, and as soon as you step into the bathtub, the hot water clings to you...? ! When you soak your whole body...it feels super nice. I was able to enjoy the simmering hot water with my whole body, neither too hot nor too lukewarm. It was a wonderful hot spring. Another page in the history of hot springs!I heard that the hot springs for day trips and the hot springs for overnight guests are located in separate facilities, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere. ! Next time, I would like to stay overnight and enjoy Kannon Onsen even more.*Please note that the number of stars for accommodation is based on the changing room.

It's in a very remote area, so once you check in, you won't be able to go into town without a rental car. The hot spring water will make you feel smooth. The rooms in the main building are compact, so it's small for three adults. When you check out, you can receive a souvenir of face soap [for women only]. Even though they pay the same price, men and women are treated differently these days. It's good to be anachronistic.

You can take a relaxing bath like never before. When you soak in hot water, the surface of your skin will be slippery and you might fall when the bathtub comes out, so be careful ❗️

This is a hot spring inn with characteristic spring quality. It used to be a training camp and a drop-in hot spring, but I heard that they had renovated the accommodation building, so I really wanted to go there. You'll be going through a very narrow road that hasn't changed since before, so if you're not confident in driving, it's best to ask for a shuttle from your inn.Our room was a regular at Pygmalion, and the only view we could see was a cliff, but it didn't bother us as it was deep in the mountains and wasn't an inn where you'd expect a great view. The hot springs are amazing. The semi-open-air bath in the room was also wonderful, and I enjoyed the unique spring quality many times. It's well worth staying overnight just to soak in this hot spring.A friend of mine previously criticized the food, but it seems to have gotten better now, with more fresh ingredients from Izu than I could eat, and it was more than enough for me. Although it is not a high-class inn, the lack of uniformity in the interior of the inn and the free cats give it a good atmosphere. The accommodation was more than enough for me.

The quality of the hot springs was like lotion, and the water was so soft that it felt good on the skin, but the open-air bath was shallow. Also, although there is a sauna, there is no cold bath, so you will have to take a shower after leaving.I didn't know that it was 1,500 yen per hour, so I thought it was expensive.I had planned to stay for a day, but there were no rest areas or restaurants.I'm writing this here so that no one gets the same misunderstanding. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the remaining 2km of the road is quite narrow.
