After some troubles with the train, we had to rent a car to get here. On the arrival, we had to open the mailbox, and get the key. But there was no key inside. We were trying to contact the owner, but after numerous of failed attempts we gave up. We had to book a hotel, because we had nowhere else to sleep. The outside also didn't look very clean.

Old and quite dirty in places and not very responsive owner. It was -2C and the heater wasn't working in an old uninsulated house. Owner didn't respond on check in day and we could only get through to him the following afternoon after numerous calls. They are trying to market a converted restaurant as a guest house. I understand the concept they are trying for and the decor looks good in photos but this place needs a deep clean and some renovation plus insulation before it should be rented out to guests. Has potential as it's next to the river and is quaint. But otherwise not worth the expense until improvements to get the basics right are made.

Large house with bicycles available, a little far from the sites. Spacious kitchen but in need of a good cleaning.
