I used a private room.I think it's a fairly cheap accommodation near the station. The shower is only in a shared space, but I think I was able to use it without stress as I didn't have to worry about it getting dirty. The downside was that I had to check in at another hotel, and the receptionist was from overseas, but they didn't explain the security at the entrance properly, so it took a while to get in at first.I happened to be told about it by a previous customer and there were no problems. The room was nice and spacious, but the outlet was far away, so I recommend renting an extension cord from the one on the first floor.I was very happy that they had the air conditioner on from the beginning so I could stay comfortably. It's cheap, so I would like to use it again if I have a chance. You can also go up to the roof.

A hotel with cheap private rooms in Takayama, where accommodation prices are on the rise.Conveniently located, only a 2-minute walk from the old town, Takayama Station, and a convenience store. Conveniently located, there is a paid parking lot diagonally across from the intersection. It's a renovated old small-scale inn, so it's very comfortable if you think of it as a hostel. The private room is simple and comes with an air conditioner, power outlet, tissues, toothbrush, towels (large and small), hangers, rollers, and Wi-Fi. Refrigerator, toilet, washroom, shower, etc. are shared. The front entrance is locked using a password. The rooms are usually key type.

No reception in the hostel, you have to walk to another hotel and then go back, and then you won't be able to open the door and, after ten minutes trying, again, you will have to go back to the other hotel, where you show them the video and even if they tell you they can fix it, then the receptionist will do a call to someone and will tell this person in Japanese thinking that you cannot understand the language that he doesn't really know how to solve the problem, and then he will tell you they will REFUND your money because of all the problems and one week after you never received the REFUND. I guess the receptionist that was there last Monday 9th September around 5:30pm only told me that to get rid of me🙃 Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it, it was a headache

Nice hotel in a good location of Takayama. Room and facilities were good, kitchen had most stuff that you needed, mugs would have been useful. The downside was the WiFi did not work at all and having to check-in at a different hotel is annoying, especially if leaving luggage earlier in the day.

2024.9Best of all, it's reasonably priced.Although it is a shared guest room with bunk beds, it is equipped with an outlet and a USB cable. It's a shame that the toilet doesn't have a washlet.Convenient as there is a convenience store and coin laundry nearby. It was inconvenient that the check-in was a little far away, but I was satisfied because I was able to spend my time freely afterwards. There is a parking lot nearby, and on weekdays it costs 700 yen for 24 hours.

This is one of the few B&Bs with really large rooms during my eleven-day trip to Japan. The layout of tatami + traditional paper doors is really traditional. The public facilities are very clean and beautiful, but there is nothing to do in the shower room. It would be more awkward to put on clothes directly, but it would be awkward to have to go out to wear them. The location of the hotel is very good, not far from the station, and the price is very cost-effective. A double room costs about NT$5,000 for three days. The disadvantage is that the network signal is really poor.

This hostel does not deserve such a low note. I've been traveling for 2 years and it's one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The current rating is not deserved. They let me check-in earlier when I just wanted to ask to drop my bag. A shower after 4 days of trekking in the mountains, I'm not saying no. The spacious, well-lit, comfortable room with privacy and very clean. There is even a private bathroom with a bathtub.. kitchen, lobby and nice living room. well secured. A full note.
