I used it on a weekday in June 2024 while traveling alone (by car). The location was good and perfect as a base for sightseeing spots.Another good point was that you could also use the public bath of the hotel next door (Sago Royal Hotel), so the view from the open-air bath with a view was amazing. Honestly, I felt like this was enough.I also felt that the cost of lodging was less than 8,000 yen without meals, which was a good deal. *We also received a free pass for the sightseeing boat. The bad points were that check-in was done at the hotel next door (Sago Royal Hotel) and that there were no employees at the hotel front desk. Also, the men's bath was located in the basement of the building next door, so I had to leave the building wearing a yukata. The public bath at the hotel next door (Sago Royal Hotel) was also about 100 meters away, which made getting around difficult.Overall, there are some inconveniences, but considering the price, I felt that I was generally satisfied.

There were people taking pictures in the open-air bath, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. What's more, there were people taking pictures of not just one person, but several people, and two old men entered the open-air bath with their clothes on, took a photo, and then left.I think you should be more careful.

Hot spring hotel just a short walk from Kanzanji Temple🏨Although the facility is old, it is kept clean, and in a sense it is neglected, so you can relax.Reasonable price and good location!

The front desk is unmanned. Check-in is at the Surgo Royal Hotel next door. There are baths at Surgo Royal Hotel, men's baths in the annex, or in your room.

The rooms are lower grade than the main building, and the beds are harder, but they are clean, have a lake view, and above all, are cheaper. I think the cost performance is outstanding. There's a really delicious udon restaurant called Gonta nearby, so I enjoy the set.The best thing was that the bath was reserved for private use. I was able to soak in the water quietly and slowly. You can also use the magnificent bath on the top floor of the main building.
