My husband and I stayed for three nights and it was wonderful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The onsen included both an inside and outside option for bathing. …

Amazing experience. From the moment you get in you feel the warmth of this place. Very relaxing and unique.I can count many positive points about this place, but the hosts are by far the best thing. They take care of every little thing and everything is being done with a sincere smile. I can't think of another host that made me feel so good. The facilities were nice, the onsen was very good and not crowded at all at my time of visit. Traditional dinner was served at the room - unique tastes and textures for the average non Japanese tourist, highly recommended to try.Coffee isn't served in this place so it is recommended to buy some close by.To sum up, great place to go, a little on the expensive side but it was worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting. They have very nice open air onsen as well. Rooms are comfortable and spacious (atleast for a couple). Since it's located in the Hirayu Onsen hills, it might be hard to get in our out of the area by public transportation; please be mindful of the instructions given in their hotel listing. Rooms are old Ryokan style, with a tea terrace, a view of the mountains and complimentary yukata are provided. The staff was especially friendly, and I'd like to give a shoutout to the young lady who took time to explain everything about the room to us in English.

I made a reservation for a room with special reasons just before Golden Week. I was told that this was due to the scenery outside the window, but there was no problem! There is no elevator, but since it was an overnight trip, I didn't have much luggage so it wasn't a problem. On top of that, we had dinner in our room, which is rare these days, so we were able to have a leisurely meal with our family.Hot and cold pots were provided in the room, which was great when I felt thirsty at night. For my meal, I ordered Hida beef steak for an additional charge, and it was very tender and delicious. On the first day we went to Shinhotaka Ropeway, and on the second day we went to Kamikochi, and the inn was in a very good location. It was close to the Akandana parking lot, so I was able to arrive at Kamikochi early and enjoy it.I was very satisfied with this ryokan, which has a bit of Showa retro feel and offers great hospitality. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the pillows are hard and hard to fit.

Very polite customer service. The meal was unexpectedly eaten in the room, and the food was so voluminous that I could only drink one glass of my favorite alcoholic beverage. …

I stayed on a Sunday. The food in the room was delicious, and as everyone said, the inn had great hospitality. I would like to visit you again. I was a little panicked because the temperature difference between Nagoya and Nagoya was huge.

On my annual trip with my mom friends, this time I went to Okuhida to find a place to stay with a buggy, and Aihokan took care of me. This is my 5th trip this year, and I have stayed in various places all over the country, and this is by far the best. The inn had a quaint feel, and the proprietress and her son served us, and we had a truly relaxing time. As for the meal, we had dinner in our room and it was very delicious and we had a great time chatting. The hot spring water was nice and I was able to relax in the open-air bath. I was worried that the door to the bathroom entrance was a little difficult to open, but I have fond memories of it. I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer for sure. I would definitely like to go with my husband next time.
