The food is good and the rooms are good. There are places where you have to pay for things like ice cream, but it's actually free.

Highly recommended! It's been about 4-5 years now, and I've visited her at least once a year! The meals and baths set us apart from other inns. This inn is suitable for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time.In the past, you had to go to the front desk to find out the availability of private hot springs, but this has been renovated so that you can check on the tablet in your room. The coffee and ice cream service is also nice. (Some consideration required)As others have said, I think there are variations in customer service depending on the staff. However, I think it's within an acceptable range, and I don't think anyone would say anything bad about it.It doesn't just mean it's easy to access. However, you can go by private car or by taking the Nohi bus from Takayama Station.

The food was very delicious. It was a bit too much, but I guess that's the selling point from the name of the inn.It was a very memorable stay. The hot springs were also easy to use as they were reserved for private use.

The inn is limited to 5 groups per day, and although it was a weekday, there were 4 groups. Anyway, no matter where you look at it, all I can say is that it's amazing.I have stayed at many hotels ranging from reasonable to high-end hotels, and the quality of the food was very high and the service was attentive one after another, making me feel happy and enjoying myself many times. However, several customers have posted detailed reviews about the services and surprises that are not public, but it seems a bit lacking. The host very politely said, ``If all the details of the food, service, and surprises are written on social media, it would take away the enjoyment for the guests who use the hotel, so I would appreciate it if you could cut it out.'' There was a message card in the room informing me to decline the request, but I wonder if I didn't see it?Therefore, I won't write about the details of the services and surprises, but the attention to detail is amazing and this is an inn that will make you feel happy again and again. If you are going, please look forward to it.The hot springs are spacious and available for private use, with 4 indoor and outdoor baths for your enjoyment. There will be a lot of fun on the way to the villa. The employees are very kind and the accommodation is very nice and clean. All the dishes are exquisite. I have no complaints at all.I will definitely use them again.

The inn fits the Okuhida atmosphere and is calm and quiet. The person in charge of customer service was in training, but he had a very nice smile and was very responsive. There were also many nice features, such as the relaxing private hot springs and milk service after taking a bath. The only disappointing thing was at dinner...Perhaps because of the coronavirus pandemic at the time, we were the only group when we were shown around.I had high expectations because I had chosen this place based on the reviews that the dinner was excellent, but I was rushed.Even though I hadn't finished eating yet, the food came out one after the other, so I asked them to slow down a bit, but they said they had to make arrangements as well. It's a shame because the contents were elaborate and delicious.I didn't have time to enjoy alcohol, so it ended up being over in less than an hour. This is the first time I've finished eating dinner at a ryokan so quickly.I think it was an irregular situation due to the coronavirus pandemic, but if the hotel is billed as a culinary inn, I would have liked them to be close to me in that aspect.

This is a place in the mountains where it is difficult to secure ingredients, and the owner, who trained for many years at a well-known restaurant and served as the head chef, basically uses locally produced and locally consumed food that is full of the season. With our sense of taste and ingenuity, you can enjoy exquisite kaiseki cuisine that is elaborately designed every time. Each dish is served in a timely manner, with a smile on your face no matter what you eat, and for those who like alcohol, the host, who is a sake sommelier, will pair the sake with the food.I have been visiting the restaurant four to five times a year, depending on the season, for over 15 years, and the dishes never overlap other than the specialties, and the ordinary ingredients from the region are made into truly delicious dishes with flair and ingenuity, and sometimes I am surprised. It's also fun to get tired. We often bring our valued customers and the owners of restaurants listed in Michelin, and they are so amazed that they come back to visit us again, so it's no wonder we have so many regular customers. It's hard enough just to run a restaurant, but I think it's great that you're able to maintain this level while running an inn business. However, even if people who have never tasted authentic kaiseki cuisine or who do not know about it visit based solely on word of mouth and are asked for high-quality ingredients, flashy appearance, and quantity, they will unfortunately not be able to understand the true essence of this inn. It's a pity that the rating is unreasonably low because there is no such thing.
