Great hot spring and quality food! Very quiet place. There are 2 types of private hot spring and 1 public one. You can book private ones when you arrive. Quality of food was so good.

I was able to visit thanks to my brothers in Gifu. The hot spring water is of course good, and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff there are very friendly and there is nothing to find fault with. In particular, the meal was so great that it was like a dream. I definitely want to visit again with my family. Thank you so much!

Of course a bath is nice, but delicious food is the best! It was very filling.I was a little disappointed that I was suddenly rushed when I started eating dessert during my meal, and that the short-term part-time worker's behavior and language were not clean. Also, the Dozo special room is two rooms side by side, so you can hear sounds and voices, so if you are not in the same group next to you, you will not be able to relax, so I do not recommend it.

I happened to find this inn by searching online. I liked the elegant atmosphere and made a reservation. It took about 4 hours by car from Osaka. It was fun driving through the mountain roads of Gifu. The inn has the feel of a secret hot spring from the entrance. The inside of the inn is made of wood and has been polished to a nice feel. There is no elevator, so I don't recommend it for people with weak legs or back.Reservations are required for the private open-air bath. Please make a reservation in advance at the front desk when you arrive. Both of the two private open-air baths were wonderful. You'll want to take your time soaking in the water, but each group can use it for 40 minutes. I wonder if you could make it one hour. The room was on the second floor. The view from the window was good.I never get tired of looking at the scenery of Utsuro Yamazato. There is also a hearth in the room, which is actually used in the winter. Of course, it is fully equipped with air conditioning. The food is also perfect.Dishes made from river fish such as ayu, rockfish, and trout are very good, with no odor at all. There was a large fish tank outside the inn, and it seemed to be well maintained. The other dishes were also delicious. All the staff greeted me with smiles and I was able to relax and enjoy the experience.Recommended 😄

An inn located upstream of the clear Itadori RiverReservations from the Japan Secret Hot Springs Protection AssociationIf you are booking for one person, you will probably get a room facing the southern sky.Air conditioner and refrigerator includedIt is a nice service that the TV section is copied. The toilet and bath are separate and spacious. There is also a baggage rack, so storage is not a problem. There is a hot spring bath in the large public bath, so you can take turns bathing. The private bath can be used once on the same day and once the next morning. However, in the summer, we recommend bathing during bright hours. For dinner, the charcoal-grilled Hida beef is delicious. The washed river fish was sweet and very delicious.

It was my first time staying there. A house in the mountainsWe had a very relaxing time and the hot springs and food were very good and we had a happy time. The sky was full of stars, which you can't usually see at home because it was in the mountains, and it was very beautiful. When I went out for a walk in the morning, a wild monkey came to the inn from the mountain side and I saw cicadas in the trees for a while. I was very lucky to be able to be there while they were eating food and playing in the trees, swaying in the trees. I was able to see 4 monkeys, including baby monkeys. The room I stayed in had a little view of the mountains, so I thought it would be nice if I could see a little more of the mountains from the window. Also, I felt that it would be nice if there were better footings when going to the river in front of us. This is a well-maintained accommodation. Thank you very much for the happy time 😊

In July 2024, I stayed in a warehouse room at a well-regarded inn with great expectations.Dinner was delicious and very satisfying, with wild vegetables and river fish that I don't usually eat. It feels like a lot of items in a small amount. The two private private hot spring baths were warmed to your liking and were perfect. This is a secluded and tasteful private inn, and I'll be returning next spring for more wild vegetables.

I used it for a kaiseki meal and a day trip to the hot springs. The food looks elegant and the seasoning is just right. It's a private room, so you can eat slowly. The bath was almost reserved for private use. The indoor bath is hot and the outdoor bath is lukewarm. The indoor bath has a separate source, and it is quite lukewarm, almost cold. I went to all three of them in order, but I still prefer the stone open-air ones because of the nice views. You can enjoy a luxurious feeling from daytime. I think the spring quality is also good. It's open until 3pm, so you have plenty of time to eat from 12pm and take a bath from 1pm.Next time I would like to go during the autumn leaves season.

Stink bug inn, terrible responseI arrived about an hour before check-in and waited in the lobby for about an hour without being served tea. When the time came and we were shown to our room, we were shown to a clean, renovated room. Right after entering, there was duct tape and insecticide for killing stink bugs. As soon as I entered the room, stink bugs started flying around, so I quickly used duct tape to get rid of them. Stink bugs came out one after another, and I killed about 20 of them in an hour. Even though the staff knows that there are many stink bugs, don't they check for stink bugs and exterminate them before checking in?When I called the front desk to request a room exchange, I was told that there was an empty room in an old, dark detached storehouse, so I was allowed to take a tour, but it was old and had a dark atmosphere, so I didn't like it, so I decided to stay in the room I reserved. I made it. I checked in at 3:00 PM and couldn't relax until I took a bath before dinner, so I spent the whole time killing stink bugs with the staff. What did you come here for? When I returned to my room after taking a bath, there were many more stink bugs on the ceiling and walls.I continued to kill stink bugs until the meal instructions arrived. When I asked the woman who was in charge of the meal, ``Do you have any dry sake?'' she replied, ``We only carry good sake, so we don't have any dry sake.'' Even good sake can be dry. I felt bad because of the lack of knowledge and the extremely rude response. However, I could feel the atmosphere of wanting the meal to be finished quickly due to the work involved. He was a far cry from hospitality and heartfelt service. It was a shame because I was looking forward to eating there. I heard that you are a migrant worker from Kyushu who is working as a live-in worker. After we finished eating and went back to the room, of course we had to kill stink bugs again. When I woke up the next morning, there was a stink bug on the ceiling. It was a completely unrelaxing stay. Did you get rid of more than 60 animals? When I returned home, the landlady didn't apologize at all and I felt very bad. When I got home, the black dots looked like stink bugs and I was traumatized. From the host's point of view, it seemed like they were used to the stink bugs and didn't seem to be bothered by them, but for us we couldn't accept this response since we had spent hours looking forward to visiting the hostel. The accommodation was so bad that I wanted a full refund. (Apparently it is possible to get rid of stink bugs by pasting them with duct tape.)
