It was extremely clean! The location is great, the rooms are spacious and have everything. I am thankful that the bathroom is not a unit bath. The lounge and mini kitchen were also easy to use and I had a comfortable stay. The people at the facility are also kind! One thing is that there is no elevator, so if your luggage is heavy and you end up on the third floor, going up and down the stairs can be a bit difficult. However, I was really impressed with how clean and shiny it was and I didn't feel any discomfort at all! !

We stayed at Rickshaw Inn as a family of 4 in May 2024 for 2 nights while exploring Takayama. We stayed in the large Sakura room, which was by far the most spacious room we had during our whole trip to Japan. …

Is there a cleaning fee of 500 yen when using Address? A donation box asking you to pay? There was something similar to this, but I felt the pressure of the instructions was a bit unpleasant. I think there are a lot of people who don't think that it's a compulsion because of the nuances. As someone who was staying here, I found the facilities and location to be very good, and the female staff was very nice, but there was one thing that made me feel uncomfortable.I don't feel comfortable paying it, so I thought it would be better if the way it was written was a little more creative, or it could be written in a form that wasn't like a donation box, or it would be better to write from the beginning that payment has already been made.

It is a wonderful Japanese Style Room with private bathroom.Room was clean and quite spacios with a separate toilet and shower area. Room is equipped with a humidifer and additional heater (in additon to air conditioner) which were very nice and helpful with the harsh winter weather in Takayama. There are shared kitchen (no fridge nor kettle in the private room) and shared coined laundry and dryer. The dryer did not dry the clothes properly, we ended up having to airdry the clothes. The staff was very helpful, however was only onsite during checkin time only. There is a space at the front foyer behind the shoerack to leave luggages. The location is quite strategic near the Old Town, although quite a distance from train station (approx 15mins walk). There are many good japanese restaurants and izakaya nearby. There are a supermarket and conbini nearby.

Good hotel to visit the city, close to the train and bus station and close to the center. Good rest and good wifi. The only drawback is the limited reception hours and that they had no option to store suitcases. …
