Ryokan Kono Onsen06.10Accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children (5 years old, 3 years old) Children are free and the total cost is 13,000 yen. This place seems to be a bath shop! The bath is open until 8pm, but there is a bath in the room, so we didn't use the public bath! The room is old and dirty, but it's good enough for just sleeping.10 seconds walk from Fukumoto Ferry! It operates until 21:00, but will be discontinued in March 2020.Tomihama ferry operates until 10pm

I received this from a guest during my trip to Hiroshima and Ehime. The inn is located on Mukojima, facing the Onomichi Channel, and the boarding point for Dodo (Fukumoto Ferry) is right in front. The room was a 6 tatami Japanese-style room with a washroom, and the window had a panoramic view of Onomichi city. The bath was a cold radon hot spring containing strong sodium chloride, and although the water was salty and hot, it was very pleasant. The bathing hours are short, from 16:00 to 20:00, but day-trip bathing is also available. We ate both breakfast and dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Onomichi Channel. For dinner, I had summer-like hiyashi chuka, which I had for the first time this year. This was my first visit, and I had a great time enjoying the view of the ferry boats passing by from the inn, and talking with the friendly hostess. If I have another chance, I will send it to you.

I think it's more of an accommodation for people working than for sightseeing.

The facility is old, but I'm also an old-fashioned person, so I guess it's okay 🐱It's fun to have a leisurely chat with the landlady 😉I haven't heard of Wi-Fi, but it would have been nice to have it.

It is located on Mukojima, a 3-minute ferry ride from the pier, which is a few minutes' walk from Onomichi Station. The fare is only 60 yen. When you get off the ferry, there is an inn right across the street. The building is an old 4-story building. No elevator. You can see the sea from the corner room on the 3rd floor! A panoramic view of Onomichi Channel. (As a general rule, tourists should face the sea, and people who work should face the mountain.) Perhaps because the rooms are small, the air conditioner works really well. It's quiet and I can sleep soundly even on a tropical night! There is no refrigerator. The vending machine only sells beer, but if you go outside, you'll find it right away. The large public bath is a hot spring, but it is only an indoor bath. Because it is near the sea, it is a salty sodium chloride spring. It's very effective at keeping you warm, so you'll be sweating in the summer, but drinking beer after taking a bath while looking out at the ocean is delicious! Due to lack of staff in the morning, you cannot use the hot springs, but you can use the small baths.Meals are served in the dining room on the second floor. Since the accommodation fee is low, dinner is a bit simple with only 4 side dishes, but the fresh fish sashimi and boiled fish are very delicious. This time, I went ahead and upgraded my dinner. There are 8 side dishes, and there are some hits and misses depending on what's in stock that day. It seems that you can also add only sashimi. The grandmother at the inn is talkative and very kind. The president is also an old man, so does he work part-time during the day? The lady who came here is not young, but everyone on the island is healthy! There's nothing special about Mukojima, but it's quiet and relaxing, belying the bustle of Onomichi on the other side. You can forget about all the bad things just by staring at the boats passing by on the Onomichi Channel from your room, or by looking at the beautiful night view of Onomichi city from the rooftop. Coming to this inn is like ``washing my life'' for me.It will stay like this forever,I hope “Island Scenery” continues. I think I'll go next spring. The cherry blossoms in the mountains of Onomichi are beautiful.

The location is in front of the boarding area, so it was convenient for going to Onomichi. The boat costs 60 yen per person, so it's cheap. However, the food was amazing. I was prepared for it, but it was worse than I imagined. If that's the case, I wish I could just stay overnight without meals. I couldn't help but take a bite of the fried oysters and spit it out. The boiled fish wasn't cooked properly, so the meat didn't come off the back bone. It's cold. I couldn't help but get on the boat and go to Onomichi to have another meal. I was told that I could take a bath until 8pm.
