The grounds of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Kure Training Corps are right in front of our doorstep, so it's easy to move around on base for base events such as enlistment ceremonies and graduation ceremonies.Various bugles and broadcasts can be heard clearly. It's right next to the railroad tracks, so when a train comes, some people may find it noisy.I stayed in a Japanese-style room facing the sea. It was full of Showa feeling, but it was enough to sleep. In addition to sailors, there are also discounts for Ground, Maritime, and Air Self-Defense Force personnel. (There was a notice at the front desk, but when I asked about the price, I was told that it was cheaper to book online, so I couldn't ask.)They kept my luggage with me after checking out, so I didn't have to carry it with me when I attended the ceremony at the base.

A calm, retro hotel. I got a room facing the mountain, and the view was very nice and soothing. There's nothing to complain about even if it's old as long as it's cleaned.

I have used it several times in the past (1-2 beats/time).If you walk for 10 minutes from here, you will find Kure Chuo Pier, Yamato Museum, and Tetsuno Whale Museum. There are also many restaurants nearby.Although it's a bit of a walk from Kure Station, I think it's a pretty good base for sightseeing in Kure.

I stayed in a Japanese style room. It was close to the station, the room was clean, and the view was great, overlooking the Kure shipyard. Although it is not large, it also has a large public bath, so I was able to relieve my fatigue.

It can't be helped that the facility is old, but as the name suggests, it's a good place with a view of the port, and the large public bath was also nice. However, when I was planning to go sightseeing, it was raining heavily and I ended up leaving without seeing anything.
