I used it as a lodging during a bicycle trip.Even though it was a ryokan, it wasn't too bad and I had a comfortable time there. The room is sufficient for spending time alone. There is a TV and refrigerator. There is a washing machine (100 yen) and a dryer (100 yen) on the rooftop. There is also a drying area (with hangers). The mother who served us was also a cheerful person.During the Obon season, we were able to have breakfast prepared for just under 5,000 yen per night, which was helpful.

Bad experience, several things went wrong :- There was no one at reception when I arrived and then the room was not ready (it was after check-in time) and I waited more than an hour between my arrival in front of the entrance door and my room installation.- Noisy place until late at night, then in the morning I was woken up by the television at 5 a.m. (despite my earplugs).- But above all, the worst point is that the room was dirty and there were no clean sheets. This is my worst experience in Japan and I would strongly advise against the place.

Shared toilet. The tatami mats in the room are also old. The food also feels like an old inn. It makes perfect sense to think of it as a dormitory where businessmen stay for long periods of time. Close to Akinagahama Station. For an additional fee, you can also order okonomiyaki from the neighboring restaurant Eden. Takeharayaki is delicious. The view of the island from the nearby sandy beach is beautiful, and the sea water is clear and beautiful.

I think it's on the cheap side for a ryokan, it was about 8000 yen including meals.
