This is an old-feeling hostel. It has everything and is close to the baseball stadium, but it is far from downtown travel destinations.

This hostel is small and cosy. Close to the train station and not expensive.The lady welcoming us was very friendly.We were travelling with friends so we booked the blue room. (there are 2 rooms and a common room).Another plus was the free coffee and tea in the kitchen. Also nice to have shower products free of charge.BUT, the place is dirty and used. It really needs a deep cleaning and some new paint.The matrasses and pillows were so used they were flat, so it felt like sleeping on a wooden board.The closet in our room was filled with stuff. When we tried to rearrange some stuff in there to fit one of our bags, a cockroach came crawling out of the stuff.We were grossed out, a cockroach! We managed to kill it but if there is 1 there are usually more.On the stuff in the bathroom and toilet is a layer of dust and all the corners of the rooms had dust and debris.The shower had signs of mold, even though they are aired out good.

It seemed like she had forgotten something (something that cost about 3,000 yen), so the female owner asked if she had forgotten something. When I requested a confirmation, I couldn't get a hold of the "cleaning person." I wonder why they haven't contacted me at all, even though I said I would check and contact them later.If you made a promise, you should remember to contact them, and it doesn't make sense that you can't contact the "cleaning person" in the first place.The service at reception and the room weren't bad, but I didn't think it would be acceptable if they didn't keep their promises, so I'm giving it a low rating.

Quiet location in a residential street but close enough to walk to Hiroshima station. Not many food places around but we still found adequate places. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but the sheet on the quilt cover was only half covered which I didn’t like as I felt the quilt exposure was not very hygienic. Hairdryer, curlers and straighteners to use which was nice. Coin laundry 500 yen and use of the kitchen with a microwave, free tea and coffee was nice. Small hostel but felt quite homely. Shower was hot and powerful with toiletries. Staff very friendly.

Nice hostel but there is currently a loiter sleeping in the common room most of the day & during the night, which made it out of bounds for us. After a busy day of exploring it would of been nice to be able to use the common room without a random guy constantly asleep in their.

I wish it was explained that there is no real reception. I emailed I would be arriving very early and an automated reply said it was okay but I arrived at 7am and there was no one. Went and sat at a cafe till 9am, returned, nothing. I was lucky that a guest was awake and checking out and gave me his key which made me feel that I was doing something wrong as they said usually a key should have been waiting for me in the postbox. I didn’t receive my key or any type of communication till late that night which was overall quite annoying I felt the need to spend the better part of the day waiting for someone to turn up at reception until I gave up and went about my day.Other than that, the room was okay. Laundry on site but no real place to dry your clothes other than the room. Nice sitting area and very basic kitchen. Location was okay. And the lady was nice when she finally appeared and let me store my bag and key until I left very late that night. A better explanation in the welcome email would avoid a lot of trouble.

Really nice hotel with private pods, a kitchen and a communal area with a tv. The staff are lovely and speak very good English, only 10 minutes from Hiroshima station.

Small cozy hostel with a nice little kitchen with free coffee and thee. The capsule bed was very comfortable and spacious and with its own little air vent. Very clean hostel with small seating area at the bottom and a sitting common room at the 1st floor The lady from the reception was very nice and polite. It was a very good price for the quality of every.
