Kinkasan is right in front of you and the view is good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk along the river to the cormorant fishing pier.

Great hotel. Since it's the 60th anniversary, it's not a new hotel and the exterior looks old, but the interior is nice enough to make it look old. I stayed in a pet-friendly room, but since I couldn't eat with them, I stayed overnight without meals, but I still enjoyed it. In particular, the baths have an open-air bath and a sauna, and I feel that they are well-maintained. You can enjoy Gifu Castle illuminated at night.

This is my 10th trip to Gifu and my third stay at Nagaragawa Onsen.I stayed there because I saw a good value plan.First of all, I thought it would be a little inconvenient to access without a car.There is a bus that takes you to the hotel, and I was lucky enough to catch it, but the number of buses is quite limited, so make sure you know the bus times. On the way back, I walked to the front of the cormorant fishing museum and rode.There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby.However, there were some places in the hotel that seemed to be reasonably priced.I was planning to eat at Nagaragawa Night Market this time, and I enjoyed it there, so I didn't have any trouble finding dinner.Although the access is inconvenient, it was great for watching cormorant fishing, the Nagara River night market, and Mt. Kinka 😊The quality of the hot spring water in the open-air bath was good.You can also use new towels every time.The rooms are Western-style twin rooms,It was barely on the river side and had a great view!However, the room is old.I didn't use the bath in my room because there was a hot spring, butThe bathroom felt surprisingly dated.Also, I was very satisfied with the breakfast, which I am proud of!The content is good, but the view is great! ✨Where you can have breakfast with such a view,It's not available at Nagaragawa Onsen, and I highly recommend it.There are many types of cuisine,Organic mushroom tempura and young sweetfish,It's really delicious and this buffet...I learned about the existence of ``Kakufu'' and bought it at a supermarket near the station. I had no idea there were such local ingredients.It was very delicious and had a mysterious texture, so I ate breakfast while researching it (lol)The hotel has good points and strange points.A lot happened, but it was a good memory.If I have a chance someday, I would like to stay again during cormorant fishing season.

The meals are served in courses and come out very slowly. First, appetizers such as cold beans. There are about 3 types of beans, some fried and some boiled. I don't need beans anymore. It doesn't taste like alcohol either. Some meat and small sweetfish were served halfway through the meal, but there wasn't much that I thought was delicious, and the rice porridge that was served at the end was dry despite being rice porridge.The breakfast buffet was very congested, and the food wasn't very good.It was dry even though there were a lot of children. The curry...I thought it would be nice if it was at least sweet.

Washlet water pressure in the room was average. You can see the castle, mountains, and river from the window of the room, and the scenery is amazing! The baths are hot springs, jacuzzis, medicated baths, saunas, and cold baths, and they give you new towels each time, so it's hygienic.The only disappointment was that the juices at the breakfast buffet were never replenished, and the food was... Overall, there were many delicious things!

Since it was a famous hotel, I had high expectations, but the male staff at the front desk was overbearing and made me feel uncomfortable. We used a special Japanese-style room with a bath. It was difficult to figure out how to add hot water. When you open the bathroom window, you think you'll see a beautiful view, but instead you see spider webs spreading out in front of you. The hair dryer in your room doesn't dry well and can be stressful. It would be nice if this room had a massage chair, but it's in a delicate position and sometimes gets in the way.It may be inevitable, but I'm a little concerned about the aging of the building.It may be a bad thing to say, but it must have been a very busy hotel during the bubble period, and I can't help but feel like it's a nod to that.

I used it as a special benefit of the Meitetsu Muse Card. I redeemed my accommodation voucher for dinner and breakfast with points worth 9,000 yen, and it was a great value for money.I went there by bicycle, and they carefully showed me where to park.The bed was soft and comfortable, and I was able to see cormorant fishing from my room.I chose French for dinner, and it was a full course meal and everything was delicious. I was surprised at how delicious the wine, coffee, and rice were.As a Gifu citizen, I had little experience with this place, but Gifu City from a tourist's perspective was refreshing and very fulfilling. If I have a chance in the future, I will try to use it at my own expense.

It was a great plan for single occupancy on weekdays in June, with room choice and breakfast included.Being a long-established hotel, the customer service was polite and the rooms were spacious.The breakfast restaurant had a view of the Nagara River and Gifu Castle, and the young sweetfish tempura was amazing. I was very satisfied with the variety of Gifu's local menu items.The public bath is a short walk from the east building by taking an elevator down to the basement, but it's not as far as a large inn. I was given large and small towels at the entrance each time, and I felt sorry for myself because I took a bath three times during my stay. Amenities such as lotion are provided.The bathtubs are white hot water, medicinal hot spring, and Nagaragawa hot spring (simple iron cold mineral spring).The parking lot in front is highly competitive and has a multi-level parking lot.There is a bar at the entrance, but there is no payment facility and you can come and go as you like.It is near the Ukai Museum and approximately 1.4 km from the Ukai viewing boat pier.
