We spent a very nice night in this establishment, in a quiet street in Miyajima. Our room was small, but very pretty and comfortable. The kaiseki dinner we were served was incredibly good and probably the finest of our entire trip to Japan. This is an option that I highly recommend, both for the quality of the Kikugawa meal and because of the limited number of restaurants on the island once the evening comes. Finally, the welcome was excellent!

Fantastic ryokan on Miyajima. Just a few minutes walk from the ferry pier and all the important sights are practically on your doorstep. The Japanese breakfast is a great plus. We didn't take advantage of the dinner. Super clean, quiet rooms with high-quality and very well-kept furnishings. Owners spoke enough English for us to communicate. We were allowed to leave our luggage with them until the evening after departure. Clear recommendation!
