This is a free campsite with no reservations required. If you wish to use a dedicated road to transport cargo to the site, a permit is required.Facility1, Beautiful water place and grilling area2, throw away the ashes3. Clean, flush toilets for men and women, paper provided.4, bench and table5, There are two vending machines next to the administration building. The site is a slightly sloping free site with grass and soil.Usage rules1, No open fire allowed2. Be sure to take your trash home with you.3. Pets are allowed, owners must dispose of excrement and urine, and must wear a leash.thoughtsThis is my second time using this place. The staff at the administration building are all very kind and are there from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., so you can feel safe even at the free campsite. This time I was able to do a complete solo and it was very quiet and peaceful.Wild deer come out at night, but they run away when there's a sign of humans, and they won't harm your tent or anything, so you don't have to worry. For the bath, I took a bath at the nearby Akiyu for 500 yen. It's my favorite campsite so I came back again.Another good thing about the facilities here is that they are open from Monday to Sunday, and there are waterfalls and shallow streams, so families can play in the river, and there are mountain trails, so you can go mountain climbing.

We were looking for a campsite to pitch our tent and visit Hiroshima. The place is free and can be easily reached from the city center by bus. It is recommended to register with the park manager, but is not necessary. The campsite is really beautiful and very idyllic! Clean toilets and cooking areas are available. We enjoyed camping here! Please note the really long climb along the river. If, like us, you get to the tent after 5 p.m. in the dark, you definitely need bags/headlamps. The river also attracts deer. They were there in droves every night.Negative point for us: there are a lot of locals camping there on the weekend. There were a lot of children there, which is why sleep ended at 5 a.m....Otherwise really great!
