You can enjoy the good old business hotel of the Showa era in the Reiwa era. It's not perfect, so don't look for something beautiful, nice, or modern. Enjoy the retro Showa era feel. It's a 3-story building with only stairs, but it's not an inconvenience at all. With convenience near the station and reasonable accommodation costs, we guarantee you a minimum of one night's accommodation. You can see Hikone Station from the 3rd floor, so while holding a Suntory Royal in one hand, I watched the sunrise in various directions and enjoyed the sound of trains coming from the station. This is a tasteful B hotel that is hard to find in the Reiwa era.As mentioned below, the ``Hiko Nyan Towel'' sold at the vending machine on the 2nd floor for ¥200 is recommended as a souvenir.

I made a reservation because it was close to the station and I wanted to eat at the sushi restaurant on the first floor. It takes less than 3 minutes to walk from Hikone Station to the hotel, and there is a roof except for crossing traffic lights, so I was able to walk there and back without getting wet even in the rain. There is a convenience store on the first floor near the station, and it seems to be open when trains are running. The room isI knew in advance from this comment that there was no elevator, so I did my best to get to the third floor (lol)The landlady at the front desk (← I call her as she likes) was very friendly, and although the room and equipment were old, it was clean and comfortable, including the plumbing. You can enjoy a Showa-style restaurant. There was a Hiko-nyan towel vending machine (Showa retro style) quietly on the second floor, and I couldn't help but buy it (^^)Breakfast is not provided, but you can enjoy morning coffee brewed by the landlady first thing in the morning (starting from 7am).This time I had to wait a little longer than 7 o'clock, but while I was waiting in the room, he took the trouble to call me and gave me some sweets as an apology. It's not a systemized, functional hotel, but a place where you can experience the kindness of people.

■There were many good points★CleaningAlthough it is an old building, the room was clean. The towels were also clean, and I didn't feel like I did in other reviews (with low ratings). The hair dryer was new, not dusty, and comfortable.★Buildings and soundsThe door is thin, so you can hear people talking in the hallway. You can also hear the sound of the door closing. I thought it would be a problem if there were people making noise.Added on 12/15 → The customers at Yadai Sushi were making a noise outside, so I woke up from my sleep.★ServiceI was happy that the heating was on from the moment I arrived and entered the room.It may be only for women, but there was a skin care set and shampoo treatment for one night.Normal business hotels may provide a shampoo conditioner or conditioner-in-shampoo that makes your hair squishy, and many business hotels don't even have skin care sets, so I was grateful for their thoughtfulness. This alone is highly likable.★EquipmentTable light, table clock (with alarm), TV, refrigerator, kettle pot, hair dryer available, Wi-Fi available□Bad points (I don't really care)Difficult to open the keyNot suitable for those coming by carAs it is a staircase, it is not suitable for people with heavy luggage or people with back or knee problems.

Right next to Hikone Station bus stop.As others have said, I was impressed by the customer service on the phone and at the front desk. (I believe this is a privately run hotel)The facilities are old, such as the lack of an elevator, but this is not a problem for a one-night stay.It is a low-rise hotel in front of the station, so we recommend bringing earplugs.

There was a cockroach in the room, but they didn't change the room and it was the worst inn.
