There was an event nearby so I stayed there without meals. Although it is mainly used for business purposes, it is also recommended for families who want to stay comfortably and at a reasonable price. The landlady is very kind. It was helpful to have a kettle and ice for the children's milk, and to have a family bath (if the time was different from that of a long-term stayer). This is a guesthouse that has been operating for a long time near the mountains, so it's different from modern inns with all the facilities, but basic things like cleaning are taken care of. There is a parking lot and you can walk from JR Mikumo Station. I had a relaxing time so I would like to go again.

Even though it is cheap, it has the minimum facilities and amenities. Yukatas are not available in the room and must be declared free of charge. There is a vending machine on the 2nd floor (no alcohol). There is Wi-Fi, but it's a bit troublesome and cuts out after 15 minutes, requiring you to reconnect by entering your email address. It says up to 6 times a day, but it doesn't seem to check if the email address is alive or dead, so it's OK. The wife is also kind, so maybe I can stop by again.

I had an alright stay, and the inn generally met my expectations. Yeah it's old, yeah it's got that motel smell, and yeah, my room smelled of cigarettes, but this ain't a fancy hotel now is it? It's not even modern, so really, what can you expect. It has air conditioning, a big window, hot showers, it's all I need, given the price.

The bath and toilet are shared, but they were clean. It seemed like it was managed by an older couple, but they treated us in a pleasant manner.

Tenpokaku is located on the slope just after turning right in front of the night light on the Mikumo side and crossing the railroad tracks, and the cherry blossoms just behind the inn are in full bloom now. From the Mikumozanri Souseikan in the foreground, you can see Tenpokaku on your left and go up to the Tenpo Gimin Monument. There is some kind of lighting on the slope, and I think it's quite a sight to see when it gets a little dark. Tenpokaku is also relatively close to Mikumo Station, and if you take a taxi or car, it's close to the industrial park, so I think there's a lot of demand for it as a business inn. I think the price is quite cheap compared to the city.

A nostalgic inn from the Showa era. If you are looking for the level of a recent business hotel, do not choose this hotel from the beginning.I think it's the best quiet inn where you can stay with children with peace of mind.I think I will use it again.

A traditional family-friendly inn.If you want modern internet services and reasonable services like business hotels, it's better for you to choose somewhere else.Considering that it's close to the station, that you can stay there by car, and that you can bring your kids to stay without worrying too much, I think this style of inn is the original type of inn.You should bring your own water heater and bath set, but other than that, I didn't feel any particular inconvenience.

If you are staying for business, you may want to consider staying with shared toilets and bathrooms. ||I don't mind having shared bathrooms, but I wish the toilets were separate for men and women. …

It's about a 5 minute walk from Mikumo Station, so it's in a very convenient location. It's a small Japanese-style inn, and the staff was very welcoming and provided a welcome drink. …
