Since the state of emergency has finally been lifted, I used it with friends. This time I used the open-air bath plan, but it was not an open-air bath like you would find in a hot spring, but an ``open-air Goemon bath''.I had never bathed in a Goemon bath before, so I boiled it while referring to the user's manual that was left in my room, and it felt like a fun little forest school event. The firepower is wood, so it seems to have a far-infrared effect, so it was nice to stay warm for a while after I got out of the bath. From the Goemon bath, I could see a starry sky, which was a great relief from my daily stress and fatigue.*In addition, there was also a luxurious and large indoor bath within the facility. We had a barbecue in the garden, and there was a large grill and charcoal (free of charge), so we didn't have to bring anything other than the ingredients, which was nice and easy.We all slept in a large hall with tatami flooring, but it felt strangely fun, like a school trip.I will use it again!

It was the worst. There was no information on how to check in in advance, so I called before arriving, but no matter how many times I called, I got a voicemail. Just when I thought we had finally connected, I said what I wanted to say and then suddenly cut off. After arriving, I called again, but got a voicemail again. No matter how many times I called, I got a voicemail. I wasn't allowed inside and had to wait in my car for a while. Anyway, the response over the phone was the worst. When I took a bath, the drain in the washing area had not been cleaned and it looked like a swimming pool, which was very unpleasant.Furthermore, when I walked down the hallway barefoot, I noticed that there was sticky stuff on the hallway and it didn't seem like it had been cleaned properly. There was a Goemon bath, but if you don't make a reservation, you will be charged ¥3,000, which is not that much even if you use a super high-class hot spring for a day trip. There was no hot water in the kitchen, and the IH had an error that made it unusable. The chopsticks are just casually placed in the drawer of the cupboard, not in any kind of container. I didn't feel like using it.This price is crazy.I travel a lot for work, so I spent dozens of nights in various places, but it was unbelievably the worst.I will never stay there again. I just want my money back.

The wonderful house was just an hour drive from the city center of Hiroshima and a great escape from the city. The large living space was more than plenty for my family, clean, and traditionally Japanese. The bathtub was especially nice.Beautiful nature spots (a lake, mountains, rivers, and hot springs) near the house was one of the highlights for us staying here. There were shopping malls, supermarkets and an old traditional town worth visiting within close driving proximity. The host was an English speaker, so there was no trouble with communication.

We decided to stay at Wealthy Farmer’s House because we have traveled to Japan several times and wanted a different or unique experience, one that major cities like Tokyo and Osaka couldn’t offer. We can’t be any happier with our choice. It felt like we could experience authentic Japanese living. However, arriving at the house surrounded by rice fields takes about 1 hour by car from Hiroshima City; without a rental car it’s very difficult to get to.The spacious rooms with tatami mats and interior decor and the bath are what I imagined in a traditional style Japanese house, it was wonderful. The house and the scenic countryside views look like they could appear in Miyazaki Hayao’s movies. The host mentioned that the interior of the house was renovated recently, and when we arrived it was very clean and tidy. All the necessary appliances were available including air conditioning and kitchenware. There is even a yard to enjoy a barbeque and a hammock to relax in.We also used the available bicycles (free!) to go around the area and explore. There were no problems getting in contact with the hosts too.Without a car staying here is pretty inconvenient. There is no food provided by the hosts so you will have to go to a nearby supermarket, which is 10 min. by car. The has quite a bit of old ruins and facilities worth checking out, but a car is necessary to get there. Also worth noting, the house is a little hard to find, so be on the lookout.A sign is posted at the ground’s entrance, though hard to see when dark.Everything considered, it was a wonderful experience and we couldn’t be happier. We would love to stay again the next time we visit Japan.

A type of accommodation where you can rent out the entire large old private house. This time we stayed with a large group, so it was very cost effective.

I used it with my family during summer vacation.I loved the natural environment, the spacious tatami room, and the luxurious bath. The kitchen was fully stocked with tableware and cooking utensils, and they lent out barbecue tools, tables, chairs, and charcoal free of charge, so I was able to go empty-handed.There are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance, so it is inconvenient to go by car.I would like to use it again.

Because I don’t like the tatami mats being too hard, I wanted four sets of quilts for two people, but the store refused and said they wouldn’t accept our reservation. It was so arrogant! Aww! No good! They forced us to cancel after we had already booked a room. It was so rude. It’s not like we were paying for two people to secretly accommodate a group of people.

I used it for a company training camp.We chose this inn as the location for our executive training camp because we wanted a place that was a little different from the usual.Since we used it in a large group, it only cost about 4,500 yen per person, which was a good deal.It was very spacious so space wasn't an issue at all.During the day, we held meetings in a large hall, and it was great because we sat cross-legged on the tatami mats, and sometimes even lied down when we had discussions, which allowed us to come up with new and unique opinions and foster a sense of intimacy among the participants. It was.The evening was filled with a BBQ, and then we went to the nearby natural radon hot springs to warm up.When we all slept in the tatami hall in the shape of a river, it felt like we were on some kind of ``school trip'' and it was fun.Miraculously, not a single member snored loudly (lol)I will use it again.
