The location of the hotel is very strategic and is right on the edge of Padang beach, the price is standard for a star hotel with a variety of room choices, coincidentally the room we chose was executive prime, with a very spacious room, plus a very comfortable sofa, the bathroom too clean and good, really recommend

The receptionist was not informative. Waiting half an hour there is no certainty. No information about the problem, no compensation. The AC lobby is also hot. We have been informed that we are bringing infants, they are not prioritized for service. On the front line, only the bellboy and security guard are friendly.There was a problem with the room, fast response.

Ocean Beach Hotel Review (Pantai Purus Padang)Breakfast: 6-10 amSwimming Pool: 8 am - 6 pmI booked my stay through Agoda and was thrilled to see that check-in was available as early as 12 noon, unlike the usual 2 pm check-in time at other hotels. However, upon arriving at 10 am, I was informed at noon that my room was not ready due to previous guests checking out late. Please ensure not to overpromise and consider updating your T&C on Agoda.Nearby Amenities:- Restaurants (Restoran Samudera Jaya Padang, Warung Gaul Belakang Tangsi)- Museum Adityawarman (behind the hotel)- X-Mart Convenience store (behind the hotel)- Al-Hakim Mosque (mosque next to the beach)Hotel Features:- Fast Lift: The lift is quick and efficient.- Toilet Shower: Takes a long time to reheat.- Helpful Staff: The receptionist and doorbell staff were very helpful and sent my luggage to my room when it was ready. Thank you! π₯°Highlights:- Rooftop View: The hotel has a rooftop facing the sea, offering a lovely night breeze.- Swimming Pool: The pool is usually empty, providing privacy. There's also a kiblat sign and a prayer mat (sejadah) provided, which is thoughtful.- Comfortable Beds: The single beds are cozy, with four fluffy pillows.- Big TV: Equipped with English channels, though the screen is pixellated and of low quality.- Refrigerator: Located under the TV set, it's big enough to store a 1.5L water bottle.- Safe Box: Available in the cabinet.Concerns:- WiFi Speed: The WiFi is really slow and sometimes loses connectivity, making it not ideal for working from home.- Charging Outlets: Limited outlets, so it's best to bring an extension cord.- Window View: Not very scenic, mostly just views of adjacent buildings. Opting for a windowless room might be more cost-effective if natural lighting isn't a priority.- Remote Controls: The remotes for the air conditioner and TV weren't working, so I had to use the buttons on the TV itself.- Many flies at the restaurant especially on desserts which is open space.- The workers were just looking at customers standing there making us feel uncomfortable to take food & eat. Perhaps sit a bit further.

MasyaaAllah prime sea view room for a stayvacation, sunset before your eyes...sea view as far as the eye can see, the room is spacious...room equipment is still okay..clean...price in July 2024 when ordering 1.2 million per night...TV without Android not connected to YouTube, using cable TV, picture quality is clear and variedSorry, this is constructive criticism:-The equipment in the bathroom needs to be updated, the towels are like doormats and the color is no longer completely white compared to 4 star hotels with room prices above 1 million...-For breakfast, the variety is less but the food is delicious, the standard breakfast served is like a 3 star hotel and below... you will feel the difference when compared to other 4 star hotel breakfasts such as ZHM Premier (ex Grandzuri) or Santika... for guests who bring children - Children around 8 years old also have to pay an additional fee of 75 thousand. So it's a shame if the food isn't varied enough.-In the breakfast area there were 2 small cockroaches that came out between the wooden cavity and the wall where the fried rice and fried noodles were placed... I told the waiter but just smiled... my advice is don't leave a damp cavity between the wood and the wall where the food is served. .so there won't be any small cockroaches hiding there..THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT CONCERNS FOOD HYGIENE AND GUEST HEALTHHopefully in the future it will be looked at again.Everything else is VERY OKAY...I want to go back to that room... the sea view, mashaaAllah... I don't think there is a hotel that beats the view...But maybe you would prefer to have breakfast outside the hotel, besides the hotel sells many other delicious breakfasts...

Recommended by a friend, he said the breakfast here is ok and the breakfast is also delicious. It turned out to be really serious. Regret staying here, for the price of 800 it's not worth it. When I entered, the room was very simple, there was only 1 slipper, when I entered the bathroom, it smelled really bad, when I got home it was still there, even though I had poured water on it, there was an exhaust too. There is only 1 glass in the bathroom. There are few TV channels and there are no good broadcasts for children. At breakfast, children are charged 75 thousand over 6 years old (every time I go to another hotel, this is the first time a child's breakfast is charged even though the child is 7 years old. When I saw the menu, I was even more disappointed, only the nasgor, vermicelli, liver gizzard (it was really tough and couldn't be chewed), lontong soup Very salty, the juice had more sugar than fruit. When I ordered fried eggs, the officer said yes, then left, didn't come back for a long time, replaced me with another order, waited a long time. The pool area wasn't clean, there were people's used swimming clothes scattered around and they weren't cleaned up officers, even though there are no longer any swimmers. This is the last time I've been here.
