I had a wonderful time with my friends at an inn filled with the warmth of owner Ikeda's handmade wood, which is located in a place rich in nature! We had an exciting experience of living in harmony with nature, such as having a BBQ, roasting marshmallows on the wood stove in the tree house that I have dreamed of since I was a child, and looking at the stars. Having freshly laid eggs for breakfast, I was able to appreciate once again the importance and worth of life, and it was a precious time!We all said we wanted to stay again from the moment we arrived, so we will definitely come back again!Thank you very much for your valuable experience.

I found out about it through a friend's introduction and used the annex. The main building, which was relocated from an old folk house and arranged in a modern style by the owner through self-teaching, has an exciting spacious living room and hearth. You can enjoy your dream of living in an old folk house here. The annex had a wooden deck and a mechanism that allowed you to see the rooms below, making it a space surrounded by trees and nature.Tree house near the main building at night. It was a day when the stars looked beautiful, and I was nervous as I climbed the ladder and was able to see the Milky Way clearly from the third floor. It was a very pleasant time to talk with friends while warming marshmallows on the wood stove inside the treehouse. The owner is greeted by calm-looking chickens. The next morning, we had egg-cooked rice with freshly-raised eggs. The space where you can quietly gaze at the stars at night and enjoy the refreshing breeze in the evening is truly the perfect place to take a breather.Thank you again ♪

This time, I visited with 5 friends. The owner, Mr. Ikeda, who welcomed us with a chicken in each hand, had a very kind smile, and I could feel the good taste and warmth throughout the self-built accommodation. There are two buildings, the main building and Hanare, but this time we used the Hanare one.It was a two-story building with Japanese-style rooms, and it was a relaxing space. There is also a washing machine, which I found useful for washing swimsuits after bathing in Lake Biwa and for staying overnight. Two face towels are provided for each person, as well as shampoo, treatments, and body soap.Dinner was a BBQ with fresh meat and vegetables. The meat was tender and delicious, and everyone was impressed. There were also cold soups, carpaccio, and pickles, all of which were delicious. The BBQ with 5 women didn't go very well with the heat, so the owner, Mr. Ikeda, attended to us almost all the time for the second half. The tree house in the main building is always open and we all used it at night. The treehouse, which is sure to appeal to children, also has a wood-burning stove, so it was a special experience to spend time there roasting marshmallows and looking at the starry sky. The tree house isn't complete yet, but it looks like something will be added in the future, so I thought I'd like to visit again when it's completed. At breakfast, everyone was impressed with the rice topped with freshly laid eggs, and there were other soups, salads, and even desserts, so even though I don't usually eat breakfast, I was able to get a second helping of rice.Due to lack of time, I was not able to experience chopping wood or take a Goemon bath, but I would like to experience it next time, and I would like to visit during the snowy season when the wood stove is in use.

I stayed with 5 friends for one night the other day.The space, the food, the hospitality, everything was wonderful, and we had a very enjoyable time.Handmade by the owner himself! The guest house has a warm and relaxing space, with both the exterior and interior decorations giving the impression that it was handmade. Apparently they are also building a sauna now.Dinner is a BBQ with very fresh meat and vegetables. Everyone enjoyed the tender and delicious meat! After dinner, we roasted marshmallows and ate them in a handmade tree house under a starry sky, and had a deep conversation with the owner. And for breakfast, the egg-cooked rice and chicken soup made with freshly laid eggs were so delicious! We had all had our second helpings of rice since morning.Since the entire building is rented out, it is recommended for casual gatherings like this one, or for families traveling with children! The owner, Mr. Ikeda, has a very kind smile and personality, so you will definitely be hard pressed to make a reservation! Thank you very much for listening to Wagamama. I was impressed by the level of hospitality. Next time I would like to visit in winter.

I went to Golden Week to stay with my kids and friends and family. It was a very nice place, surrounded by nature. The children seemed to have fun as they had a variety of experiences such as chopping firewood and boiling a bath with firewood! ︎ I was really happy with my first tree house.Next time I'd like to go when I use a wood stove.

I came here for a group outdoor experience. I was able to feel a connection with the environment that I don't get in everyday life, such as chopping wood and boiling a bath. I want to come again to find ways to enjoy each season!
