I don't think it's bad if you keep in mind that the building is an old building designated as an important cultural property and is a youth hostel. It reminded me of the elementary school I went to. There are also old dolls on display. The food is normal for YH. If you take the plunge and choose Omi beef, you'll be able to enjoy it to your heart's content. If you are taking a bus from the station, there is a bus stop in front of YH, but the receptionist told me that if you get off at the previous bus stop and walk a few hundred meters, it will be 50 yen cheaper.P.S.: Don't expect the same level of service as an inn or hotel. It's another youth, but the neighbor next door was making noise until late, so I went directly to ask. We are mutual.

It is a very historic building, designated as an important cultural property.Guest rooms are only on the second floor, and toilets are only on the first floor. There is no refrigerator or TV in the room. The walls are thin so you can hear voices from other rooms. You'll be disappointed if you don't understand this and stay overnight 😅The Omi beef for dinner was delicious, but there was only meat and the quantity was small.I want about 2 more items.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. The food was delicious, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The owner's story about Omi beef was also very informative. Next time I would like to visit during the autumn leaves season. thank you very much.
