It was a very nice inn.I'm the type of person who focuses on sightseeing and just wants to sleep.I would like to come again to stay here next time. The warm hospitality, the delicious and varied food (I don't like liver, but I was able to eat this meal!), and the water in the bath was good, so I decided to go to the hot springs. When I asked about it, they said it was just plain water.Does Shiga have good water? We were also given a tour of the town. Please come and try staying there.

It’s located conveniently near the main shopping streets in Nagahama, and very quite and peaceful at night. Upon entering I was greeted by the warm and friendly lady, who made me feel at home instantly. The whole house is clean and tidy, decorated with elegant Japanese elements, I’m so impressed! My room has a beautiful garden view and although it’s a traditional house with long history, it’s well-equipped with modern facilities. The lady showed me some maps for sightseeing and gave brief explanations about the house, for example the bathing room is under cleaning in the afternoon and available in the evening, i only need to share with the owners and no other guests, so no worries about availability. I enjoy a big bathtub and it cleared all my tiredness during daytime cycling away. Breakfast is so hearty and colorful, many small dishes to choose from including fish, veggies and soups.Overall so happy to have found this place, the owners are true demonstration of hospitality, i hope to come back one day!

Was cycling around Biwako, encountered an unexpected snow during day time.I arrived the Ryokan cold, wet and tired. The owner took me to nearby shopping mall to purchase extra clothing. The owners were so friendly and humble. Made me felt like home.Best and tasty dinner & breakfast with numbers of homemade dishes to fill up my hungry belly. One of the best experience during my travels.

It was a ryokan that lived up to the phrase ``from means to ends.''Next time, I would like to do some independent sightseeing, mainly staying overnight.

This inn is a renovated building located in an old townscape. The building is old, but the toilets and water areas are clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner meals had a lot of variety and were very delicious. Above all, the host and landlady were very nice people, and I had a comfortable stay for two days and one night.

It is located in the traditional old townscape near Kurokabe Square.Baths and toilets are shared. The building is old, having been used as an inn since the Meiji era, but it was well-maintained and a comfortable inn. This time, I read the reviews and it was highly rated, so I decided on a plan that includes two meals. The food was made with local ingredients and had a wide variety of dishes, and the food was so delicious that I ordered several refills.Especially in the morning, I was excited to see so many small bowls of side dishes lined up.The host and his wife were very kind and I had a comfortable stay.I would like to use it again when I come to Nagahama.
