The shores of Lake Biwa belong to the prefecture. Don't pay to use the beach. Lake Biwa must not be used for commercial purposes. It seems that the money is being collected as part of the cleaning effort, but there is no enforcement force. In fact, there is no obligation for beach users to pay money at all. Of course, there is nothing wrong with using private land as a parking lot and receiving a fee for using it. It's funny how ignorant idiots are posting this.

There is a resort apartment nearby, so I go there many times every summer. There are a lot of incorrect posts, but the fact is that LaLa's review is correct. This is private land, so it makes sense that you will be charged a fee. A common misconception is that private land management areas and Matsunoura Swimming Pool are not the same thing. Part of the area is managed and there is no charge if you are outside the controlled area (I think there is only private parking nearby, so it can't be helped that there is a charge). There's no way you can operate an illegal business if there are police patrolling every day.I spoke with the owner a while back, and he didn't have a bad attitude, and he kindly told me about the free zone. To be honest, there are a lot of swimmers who don't have good morals, so if you meet them every time, I think they'll get irritated and hit you hard. However, there is no indication of where the controlled area ends, so it is definitely difficult for first-timers to understand. I think that is a problem with the prefecture, which manages the entire swimming area, rather than the owner.

I don't think it's good to have unsolicited reviews from people who don't know anything about it, like other people have posted, saying they can't get paid for it because it's owned by the prefecture. This area is west of the lake and is rural, so to put it simply, there are many beaches that are "private property," so other beaches are also private property, so it is natural for those who manage them to take money from users, and to put it simply, there are many beaches that are privately owned. It's only natural that you have to pay because you're allowed to use private land. In the first place, if it is illegal, it is strange that it has been able to operate for so many years. That's what it means to be in business. However, there are people who don't know anything about this and are in the wrong, so they insist on not paying and are arguing with the lady in the parking lot. Auntie may be over-exaggerating, but I've heard that she'd probably get angry if someone bossily asked her to pay in the hot sun.The police were also present during the summer, and the business was well-rounded and properly managed. Using it without paying is completely the user's fault.

It's not that they're friendly, the staff just have a bad attitude. Even though it was a really fun BBQ, I got excited.I felt that the beautiful Lake Biwa was a waste.

The water is so beautiful! A swimming area for families!Probably the strictest manners at Lake Biwa swimming area! But on the other hand, it is a good place where you can feel safe even if you bring small children! It would be even better if the toilet was new.

I talked a little with the owner. He's not a bad person. But he seems like he has a bad mouth (lol), but he's a nice person. I guess I get bad at customers who have bad manners. Haru did a great job cleaning the beach. The owner cleans the place and lets the children and dog play. I go every year. If you work under the scorching sun and have bad manners or a bossy customer, you'll get a bad taste (lol)

There was no one at the reception. When I called them, they told me I couldn't stay in tents. It's a campsite, so why not?

This place is the worst. . .As for the attitude of an old woman, she has a bossy customer service attitude that is unimaginable these days, and says things in a boring manner.Broadcasting with a microphone is also ridiculously arrogant...To be honest, I feel really bad... We had a little argument, but maybe because of that, I ended up punching my car for 10 yen...My family's free leisure time was ruined, my car was damaged, and it was the start of a disastrous Obon holiday.I started to hate Lake Biwa itself.
