The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. It gets crowded in the morning because there are a lot of foreign tourists. There is a coin laundry on the first floor, which is very convenient. There is a large supermarket called 'York Foods' a 5-minute walk away, making it great for shopping. Don't go to the convenience store, go to the supermarket.

From the price, the rooms, food, and service are worth it.When I entered the room using my card key, it was a room that turned on when I inserted the card, and one card was already inserted, so I was able to enter a room with lights. As the equipment is old, cleaning is important for comfort.Unfortunately, there were many hairs in the bathtub. The customer base is mostly foreigners.Breakfast was mediocre.Amenities are at least OK. It is a yukata type. The provided shampoo etc. are of unknown brand and of poor quality.I added more because I needed a hair dryer and an outlet. I placed it. It's a facility like that.Late at night, early in the morning, want to keep costs downI may use it again when I say that.

They need to improve their services. I had to change rooms 3x. First, they gave me a smoking room. Then they gave me a room while someone still inside.

*WARNING*My biggest thing was that when we got to the front desk (even though the staff was very lovely) I was told that we were going to be put in a smoking room. I told the staff member that I had requested a non-smoking room and he said that that was not so. He did mention that I could come back in the morning and they could see if there was another room available. I agreed to take the room only to come back in the morning and get a new room. I was sent on my way to this very old building across the way from the main building. When we got to the room not only was it dark, smelled like heavy smoke and the blanket looked stained. After spending a few minutes there I called the front desk and said that I could not stay there. They said that they would look into it and call me back. They did ring back and advised to go back down to the front desk. Upon getting I was given a new room in the main building and told that the next day plumbers were going to come and clean the drains in the room. The room did look much better but there was still mould in the bathroom, the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in years and the air conditioning kept turning on/off every 5mins. I’m not someone who is precious but this place scared me and I could not wait to get out of there. On one of the days my husband left his sunglasses out in the morning and by the time we got back that night they were gone. Unfortunately this is not one place that I will ever recommend.

Great hotel, room was exactly what you would expect in Japan, very small. I'm 1.85m and showering was a real challenge here. Everything is a bit outdated, but otherwise clean and in order.
