It might seem weird that I am giving a 5-star review without even staying in this hotel. But I want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the owner for how she handled a mistake.I booked a room at this hotel for my family of four from Expedia months before. The location is very good. A short walk from the train station with supermarket nearby. But when we arrived in the afternoon, we encountered a problem. The owner obviously made an error with their booking, and we were told that they were extremely sorry that they didn't have a room for us. I was mad at first as we have kids and quite some luggage and I was planning to tour Enoshima after checking in the hotel.The owner, a kind lady who was running business at the coffee shop, kept apologizing while making effort to book us a room with another hotel. We expressed the preference for a room with multiple beds (just as what we booked in her hotel) as we don't want to share single-bed with our 11-year-old boys. So she booked a big room in a nearby hotel, and she walked with us there.She paid a much higher price for this room than what we paid her. Only later that we realized that we could have asked her to book two regular rooms with two beds, which is actually cheaper than a big room with 4 beds.I know this is something nobody wants to encounter during a vacation. But we were very satisfied how she resolved the problem. BTW, she also gave us a bag of ground coffee, which is very good (much better than Starbucks in our opinion).

We had a big room on the second floor. It was a bit tough to go up with large luggage but once we were inside it was great. Nice room size for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 kid). For a long stay, it was helpful to have a washer. (You will use a Japanese style bathroom for drying clothes using dry fan mode). FYI, no TV but free Wi-Fi available so we were fine. 6-7 min walk from the train station and there are many places to eat. Convenient stores were also 2-3 min walk from this place.

Visiting Enoshima to escape the small hotel room of Tokyo, I found a comfortable place. The room is clean. The staff is very kind. Also they have a welcome drink from the bar and send me a coffee bean as a gift. There was 2nd story in the room. Wi-fi works.

In short, innovative and comfortableMore like an accommodation facility than a studio (hotel)Fully equipped kitchen with 2 microwaves, washing machine, and bathroom dryerI was surprised by the service of 120g of ground coffee at check-in, one drink (choose bottled beer) and coffee at the bar.I think it would be great if you used this as your base to explore Enoshima and Kamakura.However, the floor is made of stone, so it's a bit tiring, and the Wifi is unusable...
