Our stay at Kowakien Miyamafurin was absolutely wonderful. Loved their Japanese style rooms. Service was excellent. Though they did not have a lot of breakfast options, they did provide the best for a hotel without any restaurant. The location is just 100 meters from the Horaein Bus stop. Overall, an extremely wonderful experience and would definitely visit again sometime in the near future.

We stayed one night for a weekend getaway at Yunessun spa. Although the hotel seemed to have aged, it is very well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the calm surrounding the hotel which only has few rooms and the nice ryokan feel of the room and its own outdoor/indoor onsen. It s located few minutes by foot from Yunesun spa and the bus stop, but the passage leading to the hotel is steep so luckily we only had backpacks. Although there is no restaurant/shop at/surrounding the hotel, we could eat at Yunessun spa s restaurant and buy necessities at its convenience store. One of the main advantage of staying at this hotel is that ticket to Yunessun is included on both check in and check out day + lounge wear and towels were free for hotel guests. As one day is too packed for experiencing both the pool and onsen areas, we did pool the first day and Onsen the second day. It ended up being a good deal considering the price of the tickets for the whole family.

The rooms and the setting are very beautiful, the Japanese style rooms offer a wonderful experience, the onsen is also nice even if we expected much more from the photos seen. The hotel is located down a small steep road connected to the main road, very inconvenient to get there with luggage. There is no restaurant service and this is a serious flaw, at least in my opinion, in fact the breakfast offered is the one you see from the photos attached to the review. You can't sell breakfast service when breakfast is a pre-packaged snack. The sfaff is excellent. As a suggestion, the breakfast service needs to be improved.

It wasn't as glamorous as a five-star hotel, but it had a nice quiet atmosphere.Much better than going to the same three-star hotel run by a foreign company. The hot springs are surrounded by forests, and there aren't many people, so it's so quiet that you forget it's a tourist spot.I had planned to have dinner at a affiliated inn next door, but the slope was so steep and so close that I ended up drenched in sweat after taking a bath. The food was delicious, but it wouldn't be full without this.I'm glad the room was designed with great care.

Yunessun is free to enter before and after check-in. I didn't know that the parking lot was free...I paid 1300 yen x 2😵‍💫Still, I felt it was a good deal.I wasn't expecting the room at all, but it was very clean! The pet set was new and the room didn't smell at all 😳The beds are movable, so a family of four could sleep against the wall.At night, the parking lot was full of 6 cars, and I had to go up and down the parking lot on the hill... it was difficult to move😵‍💫 Especially since I have two small children😱I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast bread, but it was really delicious! It was also nice to be able to have drinks and soup.I took a private bath with my family!Although it was small, I was able to comfortably enjoy the hot spring water!I would like to stay there again if I have a chance◎

I stayed in this hotel a month ago with my husband, during a tour of Japan for our honeymoon. We loved everything, the kind and hospitable welcome, the spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, the possibility of wearing traditional yukatas and above all the onsen available to guests, where we washed away the fatigue of the day. The structure is surrounded by greenery, at night we enjoyed the silence of the forest interrupted only by the croaking of the frogs and the sound of the rain... Peaceful and relaxing! The only slightly difficult aspect is that the hotel is located at the end of a slightly steep slope that you have to walk down after getting off the bus or taxi, so it was a bit tiring to carry your suitcases . The stretch, however, is short and the beauty of the surrounding landscape makes up for the effort.

The inside of the hotel was clean and the customer service was humble and polite. This is a hotel where you can stay without meals, so I think it's ok for about 5,500 to 7,000.For dinner, Anrakutei or some conveyor belt sushi restaurant is good.

Guests can use Yunessun free of charge. Parking at Yunessun was also free for guests. The room was so clean that I didn't think pets were allowed. In the nearby garden, if you time it right, you can see fireflies glowing at night. The bath feels nice too.

I forgot if it was there decades ago or not, but you can put on your swimsuit and go into the river-like public bath.My family used to play there, but I stayed with my family in an outhouse that looked like a tea room. Since I was staying the night, I just enjoyed the house, took a bath in the hot spring that was attached to the house, enjoyed the room, and wrote a letter to my friend!
