Upon arrival, the staff worked hard to secure a parking spot and arrange for luggage to be carried. The carved ``Yoshitsune scroll'' under the front table and the casual decorations on the stairs are lovely. From the large public bath on the 6th floor, you can enjoy a view that looks like a painting by painter Kaii Higashiyama. The carvings and pigeons on the transom of the Cascade dinner venue are amazing, although no one seems to notice them. The Japanese breakfast venue "Kikukaso" is elegant. It's a Japanese house with tatami flooring and tables and chairs, so if you're sensitive to cold, it's best to bring warm socks or a lap blanket.Time passes slowly, so it is not suitable for those who are in a hurry to leave. It was a shame that there were many guests who kept the smart-casual option for dinner to "casual at home".2024 10 10

It was my first stay in a while. Of course it's a historic building, but a hotel is also about people. All the staff were really nice and I had a comfortable stay!

Really nice Hotel. Not cheap, but well worth it. Dinner too pricey for the quality which was average. Breakfast very nice.
