A 4-star hotel with a 5-star service level.Although it has some shortcomings, it makes up for it all with its customer service.

Overall review: If you want to stay on a cheap day for around 30,000 yen, it's okay. If it's over 50,000 yen, I'll definitely choose another hotel. It's a quiet place, and the season of fresh greenery and autumn leaves looks good. The exterior looks old and makes you wonder if it's okay, but once you step inside, your fears are unfounded.UPG and late C.O. were approved until 2:00 pm for the platinum room with hot spring.Since there is a room where you can bring your pet, I felt that the soundproofing of the walls was relatively strong. (However, the sound of the door opening and closing is loud.)The inside of the hotel is clean and flawlessThe staff have a high standard overall. There were times when we lacked attention, attention, and cooperation. I get the impression that it's just another step (sorry for looking at you from above)The large public bath was a little strange, but I was happy with the Tan AW amenities. This was my first time at a hotel with a public bath. In fact, I think it would be better to cut costs here lolIt would be nice if this could be improved・Club loungeAlthough it's good that they don't have it, I wish they would pay more attention to the contents of the snack set. It's also arousing that it's so cold. It was as big as a lunch box, so I was surprisingly full. Unless you're a big eater, I think you can think of it as a hearty meal that can be used as a dinner replacement.I would like to have glasses for wine and sparkling in the room (well, I guess it would be difficult...)It would be even better if the bottle itself was mini size.・Response at check-inI was instructed to sit on the couch and wait, and my face was forgotten. It's a small thing, but I feel very lonely. It gave a bad impression at the beginning...·breakfastThere are few menu items. It's on par with a business hotel, which is a bit disappointing for a hotel in a resort area. Personally, I was more satisfied with Karuizawa because there were fewer main dishes and local products. I would like to see something other than orange juice. The seasonings provided were of high quality. The omelet looks and is perfectly cooked. Shine Muscat is also good.I might stay here one more time.

I stayed here for the first time to celebrate my father's birthday.I was very impressed by the level of hospitality shown by each and every staff member. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, especially the 14,000 yen dinner course, which had a seasonal feel and was worth more than the price. We were told about a spot where Mt. Fuji can be seen from within the hotel, and both parents and children were very satisfied with the night. thank you very much.

This was my first time using the hotel, but I had some concerns about the price and the Marriott brand. First of all, the lack of amenities in the room. I was surprised that there was no cleansing oil. Next is the contents of the buffet. It's not that tasty considering the price. The impression was that it was not much different from the food eaten at hotels in that area of Tokyo. Finally, a large public bath. The floor was dirty and full of hair, probably due to lack of thorough cleaning and inspection, and the towel mat on the floor was so dirty it would be better if it wasn't. There are also few amenities. There is a used bath towel holder, but there is a system where you have to take the bath towels from your room with you.Overall, at first glance it looks beautiful and has a luxurious feel, but when you look at it in detail? I was a little disappointed because there were so many things I thought about. If you ask me if I would like to use it again, I wouldn't say so.

The standard room was much bigger than I’ve seen at other Marriott properties in Japan. The public bath was nice and warm with water jets. Breakfast staff were super attentive and we could get omelettes made to order. It’s a bit far from Lake Yamanaka, but there is a forest around the hotel so it’s peaceful.

Beware of erroneous charge! Front desk staff billed me for restaurant charges which I did not incurr. Attitude was condescending, not befitting of Marriott brand. The hotel continued to contact me incessantly saying that I did not pay the restaurant charges. It is totally insulting! They should conduct a thorough investigation before accusing their guests, obviously due to error on the part of restaurant staff. We had a room with a private bath and the temperature of the bath was also not hot for most of the time.We had enjoyable experiences with other Marriott hotels globally and this hotel's unprofessional conduct certainly makes us rethink about our impression of the Marriot brand .
