This is a great place to stay not too far from all the site seeing in Hakone. It is a short walk, about 10 minutes to the ocean and most of the walk is along the river that flows into the ocean. Very scenic and pretty. The room was very spacious and clean. Some units have laundry machines in them but ours did not but there are two free washers and one dryer on the first floor. They also provide the laundry detergent free of charge.There are two parking spots that are 500 Yen per day but you have to reserve them in advance online. Note that if you translate the Japanese website to another language you have to switch it back to Japanese before you submit the form or else it will give you an error that your car model is wrong.There is a grocery store a few hundred feet away from the place as well as a Family Mart that is open 24 hours.There are many restaurants options all within walking distance. I cannot provide any recommendations as we did not eat out during our stay.We had no complaints about our stay at Sakyraua and would highly recommend this place as your next choice if you plan to stay in or around the Hakone Japan area.
