Traditional hotel, multiple building divided on 3 or 4 houses. The location and the view was nice. The road to get there was a bit surprising.. at night i asked myself multiple times if i was on the good road because its small and narrow and goes up. Inside was very cool, no shower no bathroom. If you want to wash yourself you have to use publicbath but it's not overcrowned because of maximum 4 houses for 1 bath.The only negative things was the smell of the house. I feel like someone smoke inside or i dont know.. maybe its normal due to wood house and traditional tatami and futon i dont know.Anyway its was a great stay.

It's difficult because the parking lot is too small.If the hotel doesn't include meals, the restaurants in the surrounding area will close between 4 and 5 p.m., so you'll have to rely on convenience stores.The image was taken from the guest room.

The room is gorgeous and has an amazing view of Mt Fuji and a Ryokan feel. This location is a little hard to get to if you’re not using a taxi/ own a car

It’s not a ryokan, don’t be fooled. They do not serve food even though they say they do. Terrible service. Host was rude and unhelpful and took advantage of us.The room is great if you want to have a board meeting with a view or something where you don’t need any food or comfortable places to sit or lay.We arrived looking forward to the traditional ryokan experience but they refused to serve dinner, saying I should’ve booked it when I booked the room, which - catch 22- wasn’t an option… we had just arrived so I asked to cancel and get a refund since the booking was misrepresenting itself as a ryokan that serves dinner.We still needed to eat.There were no open restaurants in the area because it was Tuesday? The local taxi services were not operational. Definitely don’t stay here if you don’t have a car and don’t want to walk up the side of a mountain. So we had to walk down the mountain and catch the last bus to a neighboring town and book another hotel that did serve food. We had no choice. The host refused to refund us anything, they kept 2 nights charge for nothing. We paid $350 for the pleasure of walking up and down 1000 steps and paying for two hotels…

If you want to eat make sure you bring food before going. No convenient store nearby and restaurant close early, like 5pm for most places. They had vending machine for those unprepared. Beautiful place and even more beautiful view.

We used it for a group stay.It was a very nice inn, with a 24-hour hot spring and a room with a view of the beautiful Lake Ashi area.Also, even though there was a sudden change in schedule, they kindly agreed to provide transportation during check-in and check-out, which was really helpful.It's a bit of a walk up a mountain path from the nearest bus stop, so those who aren't confident in their physical strength may need to be a little careful, but even with that in mind, I think it was a wonderful ryokan with a 5 star rating.I would love to use you again.
