First visit after referring to other reviews in advance. There is a sign prohibiting photography inside the building, so please refrain from posting.See it for yourself!Bath around 2pmIs this the only place where you can have a quiet, sulfur-scented hot spring in Hakone all to yourself for just 500 yen?Information on today's hot water temperature is available at reception. There is no exchange, so I put Hideyo in. There is no lighting, but there is a signboard on the ceiling of the building with directions to the hot springs, so I follow it. There are men's and women's restrooms along the way. There is a hot spring in a separate building through the door. There are paper cups and a cold water tank for drinking in the changing room +100 points. The washing area has two mirrors, one shampoo and one body soap. Since showers cannot be used, use a bathtub or a bucket to cover the water from the spout. It's a stone bathtub with a pebble bottom, and can accommodate 3-4 people. Although the temperature was a bit cold, the water temperature was perfect.Overall review: Matches my needs◎

It seems that other people have written various things. This hot spring is a membership system and only members can use it.I came here at 7:48pm after reading the reviews on Google Maps.It was dark, but the door was unlocked, and there was a sign saying ``self-bathing'', so I went inside and was about to turn on the light when I ran into the shopkeeper who asked me, ``What are you doing? The sign says peeping is prohibited, right?Come out!'' "Can you please do that?", so I explained various things and asked various questions.Basically, it is a membership system and it is only for members, and members can take a bath 24 hours a day for a fee.And there are currently no vacancies for members. It seems that he has not written anything on sites such as Google, and he has no intention of writing about it.What happens if someone who is not a member comes and takes a bath after reading reviews? ?When I asked him, he said, "I'll call the police right away."So, if the owner is not there, I think you can take a bath as long as you put money in, but please be careful when going.I think there are a lot of people who come only based on the reviews, so I think it would be nice if they had a little more kindness, like putting up posters and signs.

The inside of the building is dimly lit, so it might be scary to go there alone at night. It's okay to be alone during the day. It's really dark though. On the day I went, the temperature was around 42 degrees, and the water was still floating in the air, making you feel like you were soaking in a hot spring. There is a cold hot spring next door for adding water. The bath was small, but I was privately reserved for one person, so I took it easy.Self-service without a manager. There is a locker with a key, but it's in the middle of the hallway, so I didn't feel comfortable using it.

An uninhabited hot spring located quietly in Tonosawa, further up the mountain from Hakone Yumoto. The place is a former inn that has been left uninhabited, but the owner seems to be cleaning it hygienically, so it's quite clean. When you enter the inn, you'll see what used to be a counter, and there's a payment box and a surveillance camera. Once you pay and walk down the dimly lit hallway, you'll feel like you're in a haunted house lolMake sure to confirm whether you are a man or a woman at the bathhouse♪ There are baskets in the changing room, cooled water from the source in a plastic tank, and the bathhouse is a narrow bath with a semi-open-air view of greenery♪ The spring quality is simple sulfur spring and the temperature is high. The conditions are pretty good, at 46-47℃ and pH 3.9, so the temperature is like a punishment game lolIn order not to dilute the hot spring water, showers are no longer available, and the only water available to wash your body is a tub, so when you wash your body, you have to sit on the ground or just stand still. Shampoo and body soap are required. When diluting it, I use the cooled hot spring water kept in a large tub at the bathhouse, but it's just a little less lolI'm not sure if it's okay to add water from the plastic tank in the changing room, so I'll just have to be patient. Some days it's blue and clear, and some days it's cloudy, and I feel like it's a natural characteristic. You can also park there for 3 cars, 24 hours a day, and in the winter it may be difficult to change clothes at the changing room. The bathing fee is 600 yen as of July 4, 2022 ♪ Please try the best secret hot spring ♪ I think the quality of the spring water is the best in Hakone ♪ If there are customers in advance, it is physically difficult for more than 3 people to take a bath, so please wait. I think it will be fine, but since the temperature is high, don't stay in the water for too long. If you wait a little, there will be no problem! Please enjoy the best quality of the hot springs♪

The hot water was extremely hot at 46 degrees, and the water in the bottle I used to cool it was only lukewarm, so I couldn't drink it at all.I took advantage of the fact that I was alone, so I filled a bottle with hot water from the bathtub and went inside. The bottle was small so it didn't reach my shoulders, but I was able to enjoy the hot springs! However, this cannot be done unless you are alone, so we recommend that you check the temperature of the bathtub displayed at the entrance before entering. And everyone, when the water in the bottle is low, I would like you to refill the bathtub with hot water before you go home. The hot water in the bottle will cool down over time and turn into water, so the next person will have to let the hot water cool down before pouring it in safely. The quality of the spring water is very good. It keeps your body warm and moisturized for a long time.

Speaking of Hakone's authentic sulfur hot springs, I think it's Ashinoyu Onsen. There are only 3 locations: Matsuzakaya Main Store, Kinokuniya Ryokan, and Yamagataya. All the inns have wonderful hot springs.Yamagataya is an unmanned hot spring where you can take a bath for just one coin.It is a sulfur hot spring with a very rich yunohana, which is adjusted to warm the water with the cooled source without diluting the source. This is my favorite hot spring. There is no shower, the space is large enough to accommodate 2 or 3 people, and we do not recommend it for those who value cleanliness and the facilities are well-equipped.Although it is deep in the mountains in Hakone, I think it is worth going if you are looking for a real hot spring.

This is the ultimate neglect😁I quit my job at a hotel and went to a hot spring on my own.You can only take a bath for 500 yen per hour.Of course there is no boiler or other heating equipment, but the electricity is on.If you are unsure, there is one at the entrance. With a dry battery lantern😁I'll bother you then.Put money in the box at the entranceRead the warning and go inside...The bathtub is smallKaran is not availableA type that uses hot spring water from the bathtub in a tub.The hot spring water comes in from under the bathtub, and there is a pleasant sulfur smell.I'll definitely come again 🎵NoteHair dyeing prohibitedBe sure to turn off any lights that are litClose when openedTake your trash homeIf a heartless person uses it recklesslyI won't be able to take a bath from now on.

※postscript:According to the owner, the contents of the cold water bottle are prepared by him for hygiene reasons, so he doesn't want you to refill the bottle directly from the bathtub.Have you thought about the people who put the water in the bottle in other comments and who use the cooled water in the bottle later? I don't think it's hygienic. If it was too hot to soak in the water, there should have been a way to do it by pouring hot water over it.I also do this when the water temperature is high. While I was driving with a friend, I wanted to go to a hot spring and was looking into it, and we found this place and decided to visit.I arrived at night, but the lights weren't on, so I guess they weren't doing anything. I hesitated to enter. The entrance was empty, and there was a sign saying, ``Bathing is self-service.Click here to pay.''Indeed, I think this is a hideaway hot spring for people who understand the current situation and enter it.The inside of the building is dark and the radio is playing, making it a bit eerie. You can turn on the lights in the toilet and bathroom, so there is no problem there. The quality and temperature of the spring water was just right and I was able to take a relaxing soak. However, as mentioned in other posts, it seems that you cannot use the shower when taking a self-bath. Do you mean ``entering with an understanding of the current situation'' including that?Body soap and shampoo were provided. On the way home, I happened to meet my husband from his time working at an inn. I met someone I thought was right at the entrance and we talked for a bit.It was the best hot spring to enter while understanding the current situation. The building is not air-conditioned and the changing rooms are cold, so you need to be careful about the water getting cold, especially in the winter.

The hot springs at the inn are open to the public as drop-in baths. We are not currently offering accommodation.Even though the facility is open for drop-in baths, there is no staff permanently stationed inside the facility and only natural light shines through the passageways, so I am starting to wonder if it is really open. There is a jar at the entrance where you can put the usage fee, 500 yen per person, and proceed to the back of the building. There are separate baths for men and women at the very back. Both rooms are large enough to be cramped if more than 3 people fit inside. No hot water from shower and callan.I draw hot water from the bathtub and do it quickly. The bath is fed directly from the source. The temperature is over 44 degrees, so it's hot. There is a ``Yuhimashi'' made by cooling the source water, so you can enjoy the hot spring by adjusting the temperature to your liking. The hot springs, where the flowers of the water dance and the scent of sulfur, are very refreshing and refreshing to the touch. You will feel refreshed after taking a bath.Thick hot water is nice, but once you experience this refreshing feeling, you'll become addicted. There are various hot springs in Hakone, but this one may be the only one where you can fully enjoy the blessings of nature. This is a famous hot spring that you want to enjoy quietly with as few people as possible, so we do not recommend visiting in large groups.

First visitEasy day trip bathing with just one coinIt's the perfect temperature for me!An old man who was there said it was hot. There is a shower, but I can't use it.If you think of it as a remnant from the time when it was an inn, it's also fun.It seemed a little blue when I went there.Sometimes it gets cloudy, but I'm looking forward to going again.Although it is a sulfur spring, I didn't really notice any sulfur smell. The hot water was goodThere's just one thing...maybe it's different on another day...Maybe it's just my impression, but...If the noren in the men's bath is pink and has a [Yu] sign on it, people will mistake it for the women's bath...
