When I went inside, it felt very clean. I was impressed with the amount of food both breakfast and dinner and the quality of the ingredients. There were 6 of us staying there, and since it is a small and run business, there were no other guests, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time as it was like we had reserved it for ourselves. We recommend taking a bath as the water flowing directly from the hot spring source seems to have a beautifying effect on your skin!

After watching the Hakone Ekiden (return trip), I took a hot spring bath [500 yen + towel 200 yen] to revive my cold body. The bathtub was very clean, and I went through the process of bathing in the hot springs and then cooling my feet and head in the cold water several times, and it felt really good.
