The room was fine but not that good, the sink was probably clogged.Towels werent included(normally its included in hotels), u had to check that when ordering. Also when checking in, you have to notify them if you werent going to make it at 3pm but then they didnt answer the phone, then called me back and i was in a bus so couldnt answer, after getting off, i called back and informed, but then they call again.

Stayed for 1 night on May 2, 2014.The reason I am finally writing a review is because I want to remind myself that I loved this ryokan so much. It was a really happy time and the private open-air bath was the best. (Accommodation that only I want to know about...S2)So much time has passed and I don't know what it's like now. I think it took about 20 minutes to walk because it wasn't easily accessible by foot. I traveled with my boyfriend (now husband) with a suitcase.I remember the owner and the grandmother were there, they were friendly and the food was very delicious. When I came back from the hot springs, I was surprised to find a room with a blanket and a meal prepared (I loved it so much!). It's a memory I don't want to forget. A cute, quiet ryokan. There are two hot springs on the first floor, one an open-air bath and one an indoor bath with a window overlooking the outside. I also heard that there was a bathhouse on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but I didn't use it when I went. Was it being repaired? When using the hot tub, you can hang a sign and use it, but it may be difficult to use when there are a lot of users. My husband enjoyed his first trip so much that he came back here with his parents. This is a place I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for giving me happy memories of my first trip to Japan. This trip made me love traveling to Japan. It was a long time ago, so I couldn't remember where the ryokan was, so I was anxious (I don't want to forget). I search through my emails and leave a review. best!

I used it at a day trip hot spring. The hot springs were great! Since it is a private reservation type, please contact the inn before going. They will respond kindly.

The location is just around the corner of the Owakudani Line from the shores of Lake Ashi. After sunset, there is little traffic and there are no street lights around, making it pitch black. It's very quiet and the night sky is filled with stars from the garden of the inn.The open-air hot spring bath is available for private use at any time. The indoor bath is also available for private use. After taking a bath, I was relaxing in my room when I was called over the intercom to go to the dining hall. The main dishes are boatloads and pork shabu, along with small side dishes, salads, and crab gratin. The rice is served in a rice bowl, so you can have a bowl of sashimi or a bowl of shabu-shabu.You can eat it wholeheartedly. After the meal, we took a bath again and had dessert in our room after the bath. This is a calm inn where you can relax.

I booked the room thinking it would be nicer, but as it is a ryokan, it still looks old even though it has been renovated.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk slowly from Togendai Station.People with impaired legs should be careful. There are taxis available from the station, but they are not always available. Before checking in, I called the hotel and an elderly woman answered. They ended up cutting things off unilaterally without listening to me.When I checked in and was taken to my room, it was extremely dirty. There was a lot of hair falling from the time I entered the room, and the TV stand was also covered in dust. There is a musty smell in the room.My nose has stopped running. The bathroom is full of mold.Do you understand that you will be staying with us as a guest? The people at the inn walk around the hallways and rooms without wearing slippers.Extremely unsanitary. Even though the guests have slippers. The person who comes to pull the bed also tramples the sheets with their dirty socks. Impossible.Dinner was served in the room, but the boat platter was so salty that I laughed. It's all about the bits and pieces of fish that can be used for food. Moreover, I was told at what time they would come to pick up the food, so I couldn't have a leisurely meal. The breakfast was okay, but the amount of natto was only half a pack. You can go into your room to put up your futon during breakfast, but please don't take down your glasses yet.Or rather, just check out and clean up.Overall not worth the money.I felt that the hot springs were good, but the private reservation system was not good. You can't check if the bath is empty unless you go to the front of it one by one. There were some showers where only water came out.
