By train and bus from TokyoApproximately 2 hours. This is my second repeat visit with a day trip plan that includes lunch! It has a Showa era feel to it, and although the building is undeniably old, it is kept well-maintained, so you can spend your time comfortably. The response from all the employees is warm and pleasant, and as expected, the company has been in business for 62 years. This is a long-established hotel. The food is a mini kaiseki meal, but the portions were enough to satisfy even a relatively big eater like me.Authentic kaiseki cuisine for lunchGreat look and balance! The chef's skill is definitely there!Enjoy delicious foodI took a relaxing soak in the open-air bath and took a nap for 3 hours, enjoying a brief moment of relaxation.I would like to visit you again!

I visited here with a bathing plan that included lunch as part of my company's welfare program. This is my second time. It's a historic hotel, so the building is old and dark, but the lunch is carefully prepared and very delicious. You can also relax in the hot springs. Anyway, the rooms and bathrooms are well-maintained and have a very clean feel, so you can spend a comfortable time there. The staff are so nice that they always make me want to come back again.I'm very satisfied.

The hot springs ♨️ were nice, and the food was delicious, with rice (from Tsukuba) and fresh seafood including whole abalone. I am also grateful to the staff for helping me peel the abalone from its shell!! ️ Above all, it's quiet!! ️😁I will improve the rating.

At first glance, the building looked dilapidated and the whole hotel smelled old, giving the impression of having traveled back in time to the Showa era. However, the cleaning is done well and there is a sense of cleanliness everywhere.Although I stayed on Saturday and Sunday, the large communal bath and open-air bath were empty, so I took a dip many times. The dinner was very good in taste and quantity, and the staff was very helpful. It was also good that Yugawara itself is not popular with foreigners, as there were only Japanese guests staying there.

Yugawara Onsen♨️A hot spring hotel near Fudo Falls.I visited this place on a three-generation family trip. My family requested that we all play table tennis🏓, and since there is a hot spring pool, we decided that we could enjoy the hot spring together as a family. The building is quite old and dilapidated. Check in after 3pm. We had two standard Japanese-style rooms next to each other.I quickly changed into my swimsuit and headed to the hot spring pool on the rooftop. The hot spring pool inside the greenhouse can be enjoyed all year round. It's smaller than I expected, so it's probably perfect for elementary school children to play with. As adults, we moved to the mixed open-air bath called Kannontaki no Yu, which is also located on the rooftop. Even though we were wearing swimsuits, it was great for the whole family to soak in the water together. Otaki Hotel has its own hot spring source, so the baths in the rooms are also supplied with hot spring water. The public bath is open to the public almost 24 hours a day, with the exception of cleaning time from 6:00am to 6:15am.Meals are served at tables in the tatami banquet hall. For dinner, we had a Japanese Kaiseki meal while drinking the original local sake "Fudotaki". There were so many items that I was full. The breakfast was simple and just right. After dinner, the whole family had a fun table tennis tournament🏓.This hotel is perfect for family and group trips.

The building and interior of the hotel have a Showa-era feel, but the open-air bath in the room had a relaxing hot spring feel, which was good. The Japanese-style room, which was 16 tatami mats in total for two people, was spacious enough. The sashimi for dinner was delicious.

The hot springs were the best. It warms your feet up a lot, much better than Atami.

I use it several times a year for fishing and work trips. Even on weekdays, there are discount plans and it's crowded. Credit cards cannot be used; pay in cash. …
