This place blew our mind. We were not expecting this level of service and comfort at this location since it was fairly new, but this place exceeded our expectation in every way. Get the breakfast, it was probably one of our highlights of our entire trip! The ingredients were fresh, clean, high quality and incredibly delicious! The breakfast service was also very nice. The menu changes every day and we loved every set they gave us. They have yamatos for us to wear throughout the property which was a great plus. The rooms were immaculate and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking on our feet! The rooms are also very spacious, much more spacious than the typical Japanese hotel room. They also helped us ship our luggage to our next hotel in Tokyo and it was a very easy process (just give them a heads up ahead of time). Also, the location of this hotel is PERFECT. It’s walking distance to many destinations in Gion/Kiyomizu yet located right off the main roads and destinations where you’ll be tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area. We will definitely be coming back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We cannot wait to come here again.

Upon arriving you are oriented to the hotel by the kind staff with tea and sweet candy. This hotel is so beautifully built. The onsen pool in the room is the perfect finishing touch. The staff here also work so hard to prepare and serve a delicious breakfast. There is also free snacks in the afternoon and complimentary alcohol service in the evening. You can truly feel the dedication they have to ensuring your room is clean and all your needs are accommodated for. We can't wait to come back in the future to this amazing hotel.

It was very clean and nice to have a bath! It would be great if the service was a little better. When I first arrived, there were two rooms, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't ask me where to put my luggage and put them all in one room. I wish there was a little more of a welcome feeling. It was a shame because the breakfast was delicious and the room was very nice.

I visited in early July with my mother on a trip.Although it was the cheapest room, the atmosphere of the room was great. The modern Japanese floor plan is designed so that each section is blocked off, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. There was a semi-open-air bath in the room, and you could hear the birds and people whispering outside, giving it a nice atmosphere. It seems like they only serve breakfast, but I was impressed by the elegant Kyoto style of the meal. especially! The pot-cooked rice that was prepared for each seat was the best. This is rice that makes you feel glad to have been born in Japan. In the lobby, stylish sweets (handmade by the hotel's pastry chef), coffee, and tea were available for free, and in the evening we had whiskey as an aperitif at no additional charge.Since it was this time of year, most of the customers were from overseas, but they were treated with great hospitality by all the staff. My mother was also delighted, saying, ``It's the best hotel I've ever stayed in in Kyoto!'' and on the way home, she seemed to like it so much that we had a photo session of the room.Although it was a short stay of 1 night and 2 days, I was able to spend time filled with the extraordinary nature of Kyoto.Thank you so much 😊
