I checked in about 5 hours early, but it was too early and may have been a nuisance.I had to wait a little while.Accommodation tax must be paid in cash at check-in.The room has a hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, air conditioner, toothbrush, and towels.Amenities are located next to the front desk, so get them from there.Ask the front desk to borrow a kettle.

The main advantage is that the price is modest and the location is perfect for sightseeing. The entrance is on the 2nd floor, so it may be difficult to go up with your luggage. The staff served customers courteously. The building as a whole is old, so you can feel the pain and age in some places. It may not be suitable for people who are concerned about smells and small details. I had no problems at all.The first floor was a large public bath, with lockers for valuables and baskets in the changing room for clothes without keys, and a washing machine on the same floor. The public bath is not large, but I think it's a good place to relax and stretch your legs after sightseeing. The beds are made by Simmons and are very comfortable. If you just play until night and sleep at the hotel, and don't care about the details, this hotel is perfect for you.

The location is convenient for viewing the Yamahoko festival during the Gion Festival. The reception is on the second floor up the stairs. The front staff was kind and courteous.Although the building is old, it is kept well-maintained.There is no electric kettle in the room, and there is no drink service, but you can borrow it at the front desk, and green tea bags are provided. There is a step at the entrance to the bathroom, so people with weak legs should be especially careful. The public bath on the first floor was empty. I used it at night and in the morning. Services such as scales and hair styling products are not provided. You can access the elevator by using the night passage on the 1st floor.Overall, I had the impression that the service was minimal, but considering the room charge and location, it's not a bad review.

There seems to be a reason why it's cheap and empty...This was my first time staying at an inn near Karasuma-Oike Station as there were no vacancies. If I remember correctly, the hotel was closed throughout the coronavirus pandemic. As you can see from the exterior, the building and equipment are quite old. I wonder if it is earthquake resistant? However, the inside of the room was not dirty. It's already a divided world.(However, I don't think it's worth paying more than 6-7 thousand yen...)I was disappointed to find so many dead insects under the window sill in my room. There were some bugs flying around the room, so I bought insecticide spray from a nearby drugstore and sprayed it all over the room.It looks like a bug coming out of a drain. Anyway, the room smelled like sewage...When you drain the hot water from the bathtub, it overflows from under the sink.Is this hotel really okay?Kettles and paper cups can be brought from the lobby, but they are limited in quantity. There is no shoehorn in the room.Naturally, there was no mineral water, and the small TV only had terrestrial TV. (There is a refrigerator)There was a humidifier for some reason.Wi-Fi in the room is too slow. Also, the lighting in the room is dark...It's a level that can't be compared to modern business hotels.I won't be using it again next time.
