What a great place. The staff was super friendly and we really felt at home right away. The hostel offers a bike rental for 1000Yen/day which was really nice and uncomplicated. Our room did not have a window, so only four stars for that. Everything else was super 🤩. Will come back for sure.

I stayed here on a theater trip.Stayed in a double room on the first and second days, and in a female-only dormitory on the third day. It was the perfect accommodation for me as I wanted to stay overnight without meals at a low price. The bath and water area were clean and easy to use.The walls feel a little thin, but it didn't bother me that much when I stayed there (you can also get earplugs). The dormitory may feel a little cramped for some people. That's what it feels like.I'm about 146cm tall and petite, so I had a lot of room. Even when I was on my knees, my head barely touched the ceiling. (People who are used to bunk beds may be relatively fine)The washing machine had a mild detergent, which was helpful. However, if you are a fan of electronic money, you should be careful as you often need coins to purchase a towel set or to use a dryer or washing machine! (There's a Seven Store less than a 5-minute walk away, so it might be a good idea to exchange your money there.)I was nervous as it was my first time traveling alone, but the check-in process was thorough and the check-out process was easy.I will definitely use it again when I come to Kyoto.

I was looking for a cheap and nearby place to participate in a tournament held at a martial arts center in Kyoto. There is a bus stop nearby, but you can walk to the martial arts center in 20 minutes.I arrived before check-in to drop off my baggage, but they delivered a lot of my luggage to my room.

A cozy hostel with very friendly and welcoming staff. I enjoyed my stay a lot. The cafe at the ground floor has a warm atmosphere, and inviting for a chat with the other guests or just planning your day. The breakfast and cake are delicious.

Best hostel I have stayed at. Very clean rooms and common areas, and I appreciated the female only bathroom. They warn that walls are thin, but my group had no issues sleeping, especially with the complimentary earplugs. We didn’t do bike rentals, but such a good feature for Kyoto. A little away from the traditional “touristy” areas, but easy train ride for sightseeing and we loved staying in the neighborhood and exploring what it had to offer. Go to the 100 yr old restaurant, Hayaoki-tei, they recommend for udon breakfast!

It was my first time staying here. It's reasonably priced and located in an easily accessible location. Earplugs were provided, so I was able to have a quiet night's sleep. I was able to work well in the cafe space and had a very comfortable time. We would also love to stay with you.thank you very much.
