It seems as though the hotel is run by few staff, so during the day and rooms are being cleaned, there's no one at the front desk until check in time, but they are very nice. Rooms are very clean, and the location is close to Kyoto Station. But the walls for the rooms are very thin as mentioned by other reviewers, you're at the mercy of how considerate your neighbors are of the noise they make. I've never used a futon bed, or slept in a traditional Japanese style room with tatami. I was looking forward to it, but turns out it was pretty awful for me. Felt like I was sleeping on the ground and could not get comfortable, even after trying to sleep on my folded up bedding for extra cushion. If you're used to that, then this hotel is a pretty great fit for you.

The tatami mats are hard and the mattress is thin and painful so I can't sleep at all.

It is relatively close to the station, and there is a coin parking nearby, although there is a fee, so I think it is easy to access. When you check in, you only receive the key, so there are no services and the only amenities are bath towels, mini towels, shampoo treatment body soap, toothbrush, hair dryer, refrigerator, and mirror. It has minimal facilities for a stay without meals, and considering the location, it's cheap. However, two weeks before my stay, I called the store many times to inquire, but I was never able to get through. (I ended up checking in without knowing anything)This was a big factor as there was no communication when problems or changes occurred.

I used it on a business trip. The room was a Japanese style room with a calm atmosphere. There is a kimono rental shop next to the front desk on the first floor. The price was 3,500 yen for men and 4,000 yen for women, including hair styling, which was a low price only available to hotel guests. We also have electrically assisted bicycles, which are convenient for sightseeing nearby. I was able to get to Fushimi Inari in 15 minutes! !There were also souvenirs unique to Kyoto for sale at the front desk! The staff are also smiling and have a great atmosphere! !It's a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it easily accessible, and there are restaurants and shopping malls nearby, making it a great location! ! !I will use it again when I come to Kyoto (^_-)-☆

The air conditioner in the room could not cool down and kept making me wait. Since there was no room to change, I was asked to wait for other users to check out before changing my room. They refused to give me a refund until I called the police. Fang, I am really speechless😓. I wasted an hour and a half going back and forth.

We stayed in this hotel over 1 week ago for 1 night. The ONLY thing good about this Hotel is the location 4mn walk from Kyoto station and many restaurants/convenient store around. This hotel is a one night stay only. If you plan to stay more move on and look for something a little more comfortable specially after really long days in and out Kyoto..We had 2 big luggage, we were staying on the last floor and guess what? Lift doesn't go on the last floor 🫠 gentlemen was nice and helped us.We wanted to leave our luggage in the morning when we came down there was absolutely nobody. Everything was shut! If you are looking for comfort forget about it....Our room was for 4 people. We had 2 tatami rooms which were ok. Futon were very thin. If you are not used to it dont bother.Checkout at 10?!The price we paid is definitely not worth it for 1 night stay. I understand is cherry blossom season... but definitely not worth it beyond 1 night.
