I will choose this hotel to stay when I travel to Kyoto. My friend has stayed in Kyoto before and it was a good experience. He recommended it to me. From the inside, this is an ordinary three-star business hotel; but from the outside, it is at least a four-star hotel. The equipment in the room is pretty good, including a small refrigerator (there is an independent switch next to it, which is quite special.), a dehumidifier, an ironing machine, a TV (with few channels), etc. The room is not big, but not crowded. Next to the elevator on the first floor of the hotel, a variety of room supplies are placed for guests to use, which is quite convenient. The location of this hotel is not bad. It is not far from Daye Takashimaya Department Store, Ichiran Ramen, Nishiki Market, and Shijo Marudong business district. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk. To get to some well-known attractions in Kyoto, it is very convenient to take the bus from Shijo Karasuma Street. The service quality of this hotel is also very good. Check-in is at the counter, and check-out is at the self-service machine next to the counter. Overall, the quality of living in this hotel is pretty good.

When I stayed there the next day, I turned on an air purifier with a humidifying function, and after a while, I noticed a strange smell. Just in case I checked the water supply system... The condition is extremely ``dirty'' no matter how you describe it. The filters and humidifiers are also unimaginably dirty. The water is discolored. No matter how beautiful the building and rooms are, if there is a place like this, I will never want to stay there again. It was totally disappointing. I did leave a note when I left the room.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーUsually it's reasonably priced, but during the off-season it seems to be relatively cheap. During the cheapest season, you can stay in a single room for less than 8,000 yen per night if you are creative.I think a relatively large number of customers are foreigners visiting Japan. Business relationships don't seem to be very noticeable. The location is a bit of a walk south from the Shijo Karasuma intersection, but even on rainy days you can get there without getting too wet by using the underground passage of the subway.Check-in is from 2 o'clock and check-out is until 11 o'clock, which is a big plus. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is convenient.Although it is not a luxury hotel, I think it is better than a business hotel. The lobby is also spacious and there are sofas available. There are also two types of coffee packs available for you to brew yourself. Necessary amenities are also available in the lobby, so you can use them freely.I have only ever stayed in a single room, but it was spacious overall, with a large desk and bed. Equipped with a humidifier, air purifier, and trouser press. The humidifier was safe to use with no mold or dirt. The bathtub was a good size and the towels were of high quality. I think the soundproofing performance of the room is also relatively high. However, in the room I stayed in, the TV was in an inconvenient position, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't watch it in a relaxing way.I didn't try the breakfast, but the quality seems to be high based on the website. This is a hotel you should consider as a top priority during the off-season.

1. The location is very good, with 3 major convenience stores nearby, plenty of food and shopping, and close to shopping malls.2. Provide a variety of small packaged supplies, such as mouthwash books, moisturizers, hair care oils, etc., which are very considerate.3. The clerk is very nice. I don’t understand Japanese, but he helps me make reservations for performances.

I stayed here twice. I felt good when I first came. The transportation is convenient. The room is quite big for the urban area. There are also cleaning supplies and skin care products in the lobby for customers to take as needed. But when I entered the bathroom for the second time, I found that the toilet was not cleaned...

Not too clean but location and services were great 👍🏻 .The only problem is the washing machines, which are only 3 so they are almost always occupied. If you have to wash your clothes and don't have much time I recommend using the local laundries.

We have already stayed at a Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Tokyo Nishi-Shinjuku, everything was perfect there. Unfortunately that is not the case here.If you suffer from asthma you should avoid this hotel here in Kyoto. Unfortunately, there is a smell of smoke everywhere in the hotel. There is a musty smell in the room because the carpet is installed here, the dust is stuck in it and is stirred up by the air conditioning. The rooms are generally very old and lack USB ports. By far the worst thing is the beds. The mattresses are so hard that it feels like you are sleeping on wooden panels or on the floor. When we asked reception for a different mattress, they only gave us two very thin blankets to put underneath. Unfortunately, these didn't help at all. The toilet, like the rest of the room, also looks like it's from 1990. Wallpaper and furniture are heavily used and appear dirty. Unfortunately it is also very noisy. You can hear absolutely everything from the hallway and the surrounding rooms. Anyone who chooses this hotel to explore Kyoto during the day and relax at night has clearly made the wrong choice here. Only the location is correct here. If you would like a comparison, you can read my review of Daiwa Roynet Tokio Nishi-Shinjuku.
