Came here, two adults and two children under 5 years old. It was close to everything and clean, our children had a blast relaxing in the room after a long day of walking!Pros: walking distance to Kiyomizudera and other temples. Close to convenience stores. There is a small park near by if you have time that you can go with children. Room had air conditioning and comfy bedsNote: check in is 4:00 pm is strict - make sure to incorporate that in scheduling especially with jet lag

We were family of four with two kids. The room was a little bit tight but the beds, pillows and blankets were clean and comfy. We enjoyed the time. The hotel location is far from the city crowd. But very easy and short distance access to the Kyoto’s historical district. We wished the sauna would have been available to ladies as well. The hotel had very nice traditional atmosphere with lots of cultural Japanese hints. The staff was very nice specially KYU. Thanks for the hospitality.

So convenient. Everything is quite close by. Rooms are neat and tidy and beds are so cozy. If I didn’t already book tickets elsewhere, I will probably stay stuck in bed all day. :)

I thought this hotel was ok, better than average. No one really around to check us in, service was nice when there was someone present, but that was rare. To me, the room was too small and not enough non-bed area. THE SAUNA WAS AMAZING! If you love sauna, this is the place to stay. Maybe one of the nicest saunas I've ever seen or been in. Location was ok, great if you want to explore the shrines and history to the east of here. At checkout, the guy that checked me out kinda directed me to rate the hotel 5 stars, and I don't like it when people do that, feels pushy and assumptive (and in this case, inauthentic.) It was clean.
