Great service with staff willing to solve your problems. Breakfast is a set dish with a drink of your choice. The bed and pillow was kinda hard, but maybe thats just the typical way of doing it in Japan. Overall great stay :)

Very good hotel. Built in 2021 with the latest standards. Quietly located with a cafe-restaurant on the ground floor. But we went for breakfast in the neighborhood as there are numerous options.

It's a very good hotel, but the shower room...The staff were all very kind and we had matcha tea for our welcome drink, which made us feel very comfortable. However, the structure of the shower room...The structure is such that the toilet and sink are in the back and the shower is in the front, but when I used the shower, the floor got wet and it was difficult to use the toilet and sink afterwards.I used a shower curtain but the floor still gets wetI went to the bathroom wearing the disposable slippers in my room, but they soon got soaked as well. It's a shame that the shower room was so difficult to use since it's such a nice hotel.

It is very centrally located in Kyoto. Nishiki market is within walking distance. Bus stops to the attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are quite large compared to Japan in general. …

We had a fantastic stay here. The rooms are spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, offering a quiet environment despite being in the heart of Kyoto. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and speaks English, making the experience smoother for international travelers. There's also a lovely café on the first floor, great for breakfast or a quick tea break. The hotel partners with a nearby parking garage, offering a great deal at 2500 JPY per 24 hours. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Nishiki Market and plenty of dining options. Overall, it's an ideal place to explore Kyoto while enjoying comfort and convenience.

We had a great experience at Hotel Rings until checkout. We had accidentally misplaced a room key and were informed it would cost us 2000 yen to replace it !!! We went through all our luggage, checked everywhere but couldn’t find it. It was a genuine mistake and there was no compassion from the hotel. We have stayed in many hotels and not once been charged for losing a room key, never mind 2000 yen. What a shame to leave the hotel with such a sour taste, we will not recommend it to our friends and family for this reason alone.

Highly recommend!!! We stayed at Rings for 7 days and it was perfectly located, super close to Nishiki Markets ( literally at the end of the street), shops, restaurants and a cafe downstairs. Comfy room, standing shower, lifts and even a lounge area for guests downstairs which I used to work a few times. Very attentive and friendly team and super clean.
