Excellent hotel. Loved the dinosaur robots dressed up for Halloween. Quiet, clean, spacious and very well located. Reduced by one star because staff will not help when needed to book bus tickets or reserve dinner spots - they said they cannot use the hotel phone to assist, quite inconvenient

At first when we arrived at the hotel to a room on the fifth floor there was a loud noise in the corridor. After that they agreed to move us to a room on the third floor and it was excellent except for a bad smell in the shower, we called the staff again. They cleaned the shower and since then it was just great! Comfortable beds, cleaning services, quiet and close to the train.

I wrote a review about the breakfast, but after that I read the previous reviews for the first time.There have been many negative reviews about the breakfast restaurant for over a year!The reply from the owner apologizes for the inconvenience caused and says they will make improvements in the future, but does this mean that there has been no improvement at all even though there have been complaints for over a year?

The guest room was spacious and easy to use, but the air conditioning was inadequate, making it too hot when turned off and too cold when turned on.The reception desk is a robot dinosaur, but is it really worth it now that unmanned reception desks have become commonplace?Also, the thing I was most dissatisfied with was the breakfast. I was looking forward to it, but the content was a little strange and the response was a little strange. Furthermore, the space was small and there was no room for the belongings of the three family members, so they had to put them on chairs. The attitude of the woman who was washing the dishes also exuded an aura that told her not to make too many dishes, and that she should be careful. She would use it for business purposes, but would never use it again for family trips or sightseeing. .

The location is a plus.📍Close to supermarket, no need to worry about going hungry~/Although the location is next to the subway, the sound insulation is excellent!If you don't talk, you will hear the very quiet and muffled train passing by, but the sound of conversation will basically be drowned out and will not affect your residence.In the aisle next to the sink, there is a small roller blind planned. I am not sure about its function, but I am worried about seeing the mirror while sleeping, so I think it is very considerate~

Hotel is located nearby train station with few minutes walk. The idea of using dinosaurs as reception is brilliant and still efficiency upon check-in & check-out. Room & bathroom are spacious enough. Self-luggage-storage also provide an convenience to handle and manage. Henn na hotel would be one among my favorites hotel's list to stay.

I had a very comfortable stay. I had already confirmed online that the receptionist was a robot. It's close to the station, and I can't hear any noise from the rooms next door (which I sometimes do at other business hotels), so I'd definitely stay here again. Just one thing... I thought it would have been nice to have a clock next to the bed.

Excellent stay in this hotel in Kyoto, the room was very spacious compared to standards in Japan, the hotel is very clean and the services are excellent, starting from the automatic check-in in the company of the cute dinosaurs at reception, to the utilities available such as the laundry room, very convenient. Everything is automatic but there is always human staff, very kind and available to help in case of need. The breakfast in the adjacent pub is plentiful and quite varied. The location of the hotel is perfect, a stone's throw from Kyoto main station and a mall with many shops. Excellent price, we had a great time here but also in other hotels of the same chain which are evidently all managed with the same care and attention for customers, truly excellent and recommended

The location it’s great , the room nice size , the pillows not that great and the staff awfully we have a problem with the dryer and the staff very nasty about it saying we the first one to have problems with it in a very rude way . Very bad experience . Breakfast just ok no to many choices .

It's easily accessible from the station, and check-in is done by machine, so it's stress-free.Speaking of greed, I would like to see more payment methods.Children will enjoy dinosaurs more than I expected.The room was clean, and the children's toiletries were in yellow bags, which are common these days, and the children's nightwear was placed in the room.I also wanted to use it in other places.Speaking of greed, I wanted a trash can in the lobby, but there was no one there and I thought it would be dangerous...

Nice hotel, love the dinos in the front but I'm saddened the other robots weren't around. Restaurant had a great breakfast and it's near enough to the station for hopping to the Bullet or local trains. Service was patient and understanding for problems too.

Good hotel in a great address in the centre of Kyoto. Schinkanzen Station is a 3 minute walk away as is JR Office, a great place to explore Kyoto and the surrounding area (Hiroshima, Osaka,..). My only complaint would be the breakfast. Not much fruit and vegetables and the eggs are cold, it's hard to sit on the bar stools. But if you want to enjoy a very unusual hotel in the city centre at a good price, I definitely recommend it.

(Toothbrush, body sponge, slippers) Room wear can be lent for free!I feel like it's a waste because the evaluation and the staff's response were very good.I saw similar reviews regarding the dust, so I thought it hadn't been improved.
